One right and left can be assembled on each side of your robot. Each wheel is connected to its own, independent motor and driven independently. Each of the four wheels include a series of rollers attached to its circumference, these rollers having an axis of rotation at 45° to the plane parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel. Wheels came packed in pairs, individually wrapped, shipped in padded box (see first pic) and boxed (2) boxes as a 4 piece set.** For the price, they look good.Once I have built an adapter and have them mounted on our robot, I'll upgrade or downgrade my review depending on how they hold up. At this point I am still wondering how they will be adapted to my robotics parts system goBILDA. I'm also a bit concerned that the center hole is so large.
