Absolutely! This is a large ornament.

Q: How many ounces of m&m's needed to fill the space?

I was able to put a lot of candy inside. Even though I did not use M&M's, you could use at least 8-12 ounces ( so about 1 1/2 cups ).

Q: I want to put a pair of adult socks, trial size lotion and a chapstick in each one would the 100 mm be a good size?

I think it should be fine as long as the socks aren't super thick and they squish around in the ball well. If it's a travel size lotion from bath and body works then no, the lotion wont fit. But as long as you get a trial size lotion that's shorter than 100 mm you'll be fine

Q: Are these leak proof after closing or locking? I am planning to check if I can add some fake snow and glycerin.

Probably not unless you glue them shut
