They are not as sickly sweet as the American chocolate cherries. Also not as large. But every bite is a delight. So worth the extra money. It's the top for chocolate cherries in my book.

I only order these in the cooler months so they don't melt/spoil in shipment. With a couple exceptions over the years, they usually arrive in perfect shape.
