Beyerdynamic MMX 150 Over-Ear Closed Gaming Headset with Augmented Mode, Meta Voice Microphone, Excellent Sound for All Gaming Devices, Grey

I absolutely love this headset and do not regret purchasing it one bit. Gaming - Very good directional sound, definitely great for any type of game, I was also able to pick up even the slightest rustling noises that I never noticed before, sounds cliché but I mean it, I didn't know League of Legends brushes made such destinct sounds, it was so satisfying. Music - Yes, yes, yes, I love them, although they might not be the bassiest headphones out there, they have a really great sound which I got used to in around 5 minutes. Excellent for music, just great. The microphone - I had a Blue Yeti Microphone mounted on my desk that took up a good amount of space, I was able to get rid of it because the microphone on this headset is identical if not of better quality. I love it. And hey, it's detachable! Comfort - My ears are kind of big so I definitely felt them hurting a tiny bit after a while and I think the clamping force of the headset is a bit much but manageable for me, it cancels out a lot of noise so for me it's a fair tradeoff. I don't remember what it was called but the option to let noise in is great, I can quickly switch from being fully immersed to casually talking to my siblings, I think the whole volume wheel options are well thought out. Cable - In my opinion, really nice quality and a nice lenght. All in all, great headset - the sound, microphone, excellent. A 4.8/5 for me due to comfort reasons. Considering the price range, it's a steal. Awesome audiophile-esque and gaming mix.

I have to say, the sound quality on these are amazing and the microphone the best I’ve ever heard on a head set. I use these for gaming but also for video calls, and music. It does a great job for all. They don’t look like gaming headphones and the mic can unplug so can wear in public. The build quality is amazing and seems very durable. However, after some time it can get a bit heavy and noticeable in my head. The cable length is relatively short but I personally like this as it doesn’t get dragged on a floor or in the way. For the price this is an amazing pair of headphones if you care about quality.

Great sound quality and comfortable to wear.

Great for about 6 months now they randomly cut out for about 25 seconds, there is no set pattern to this just all sound cuts out. tried in all ports on pc it is the headphones not my new pc (other headphones work fine no cutting out) very disappointed as they were not cheap and the Beyer site gives you a 'whoops' page if you try to load the online repair form. Will buy Bose next time much more reliable and you can get support if needed no problems

These are hands down the best gaming Headset you can buy for the money, yes they have the classic Beyer dynamics high treble peak, but compared to what most reviewers suggest is the best at this price point (HyperX Cloud Alpha) these are easily better it is no competition these win out on mic quality and output level, sound quality of mic and headphones, ear and head comfort, with zero interference even from different mic and sound output devices; I have had these as a daily driver for 3 years without issue and they have taken a lot of abuse, do they look like a keved up fiesta no, will anyone look at them and say the look fancy no, do they compare to a pair of Focal Clear professionals (£1k) not even close but if your looking for a gaming and chat mic under £100 nothing else comes near!!!

Good quality across the board. On par with gaming brands. Sound is too basy compared to other Beyerdynamics. Head band is plastic, where I would prefer metal. Comfortable as all Beyerdynamics. Microphone is fabulous, checkout some YT reviews. For the price of £50 this is a 5 star product in my opinion.

Beyerdynamic have a great name for themselves when it comes to headphones ad microphones. Sadly I can't recommend the MMX150's where the sound quality is look sticking your head in a swimming pool and hoping for a pleasing sound quality. You won't find one. At the time of this review the MMX150's cost me £89 and I can honestly say that I could find things worthy of £89 to be more enjoyable and better to the ears than this waste of materials. The microphone fits snuggly in and does have a decent sound quality but after that, you begin to wonder if you've put your head into that swimming pool. Disappointment only starts from here on in.... The sound is hollow, soul-less and not engaging at all. The bass and the mids are there mixed in...there...somewhere....without much in the way of treble. All combined inside the covered plastic-ness that surrounds the experience. You'd expect the sounds to be clear, separate and a full range of details. Instead, its like sticking two half shell plastic coconuts onto your ears. And for that you should be grateful for a product that proudly bears Beyerdynamic's name on it. Don't be fooled. It is not an enjoyable experience. The volume control is on the left hand side of the "coconut" headphone with its fancy "augmented" mode. Well, if you use the 3.5mm jack..."augmented" mode becomes "I'm sorry I don't have that" mode. The volume control also stops working which means EVERYTHING IS VERY LOUD THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Don't ask me about the USB-C to USB-B connection as I gave up fiddling around after hearing what came out of them. And what exactly is "meta voice engineering" exactly?? I'd rather have "better sounding engineering". The more companies these days whack "gaming" onto products, thump up the price and point at it going "oooooo...shiny" while winking at you really needs to stop. Yet another "gaming" product that is designed to "game" your bank balance. The MMX 150 is a waste of parts and materials in which I can't recommend at all. Avoid this product.

It feels really compressive and tight when worn, it is very noise cancelling/ u wont hear anything talking irl. But the sound is 0 complaints, very decent quality bass sound excellent sound. If only it wasnt for the 300g heavy ass claustrophobic design I wouldve definitely kept this headset. Mic is also obviously pretty decent. The make is quality too tho and the sound is just great compared to other headsets with similar pricing. My only issue was the comfortability and the small compressive ear muffs. So if ur willing to compromise comfort/headaches/heavy headset for great directional and deep bass sound then 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Mic does not work reliably. The audio quality is great, but I had to switch back to my old headphones because I could not get the mic working well. When it was functioning, the input volume was low. I tried troubleshooting my sound card control panel, but without success. Overall the product looks to be high quality, it is unfortunate it could not fully function

Die Klangqualität ist überragend, mit klaren Höhen und kräftigen Bässen, die jedes Spiel zum Leben erwecken. Selbst nach stundenlangem Tragen bleibt der Komfort erhalten, dank der bequemen Passform und der hochwertigen Materialien. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich das META Voice Mikrofon, das eine erstaunlich klare und präzise Sprachübertragung ermöglicht. Es ist perfekt fürs Spielen und gleichzeitiges Kommunizieren mit meinem Team oder Freunden. Darüber hinaus ist die Möglichkeit, während des Spielens auf dem Handy zu gucken oder sich mit anderen zu unterhalten, ohne das Spiel zu unterbrechen, einfach genial. Ich habe viele andere gängige Headsets ausprobiert, aber keines konnte mit dem MMX 150 mithalten. Die Qualität und Leistungsfähigkeit dieses Headsets sind einfach unschlagbar. Wenn ich die Wahl hätte, würde ich es definitiv wieder kaufen und kann es jedem Gamer nur wärmstens empfehlen.
