They automatically stay charged up by the carry case. Just push a button on the case. Easy to set up. Turn the two pieces on and they automatically pair. Good sound and volume. I play with guitars that are pretty loud and the Baritone sax gets washed out by them. When I solo, the guy on the mixer turns me up a bit. Seems to have good range too. I'm able to go out in the crowd and still play.
