I liked this fixture the moment I turned it on. The combo of the 2 visible and IR frequencies mounted separately in the same housing look convincingly effective, where you can see the deep red LEDs alongside the separate powered but neutrally glowing IRs, and the combination actually feels good on the skin, concentrated into a tighter circle than the large boxy panels can direct. I used a meter and tested for both frequencies and found them approx equally present. I can't vouch for the overall long term healing properties of red light therapy, but I trust that if it does work then this light can do it. It's durably well made, maybe slightly heavy with ceramic and metal construction but it works fine in the adjustable photo light socket I had.

This red light is fantastic. It's super bright and very well-made. It feels solidly built, and the light feels great on my skin. As a heads up, it is so bright that you absolutely need to wear eye protection! The only downside is that it's just the bare bulb. It would be great if the bulb came with a fixture for quicker out-of-the-box use. Maybe something that could clip to my bedside table? Still, I'm very happy with the overall quality and luminescence!

Can feel the relief immediately upon use. Great value and quality compared to so many others I have tried. This is my new go to refer to others, also. It does get warm so be sure the base you get can handle that. I have had a hard time finding a base that this fits on. I like the updated one a bit more with the smoothed edges. Have used it for a few months daily and still going strong. It is a bit hard to use with that issue with finding the right base to screw the bulb into.

I cannot say enough about my red light. It is life changing. I've had one for years before it was trendy, and use it every single day. I did tons of research before buying this style bulb. I give them as gifts to everyone. The best way to sum it up is that your joints feel refreshed after sitting underneath it - and the bonus is your skin will look amazing and younger without you even doing anything else. I do not use any fancy skin or makeup products. If I use this on my face for a couple days , I don't even need makeup. It absolutely closes the pores on my face. It smooths the whole color of my face. It has stopped the wrinkling that started under my chin and in my cleavage, and I'm 46. If your joints are sore and you sit under this for 20 min a day, you will feel better. It's for your feet, your hands, your shoulders, your wrists, your neck, your back, your head and your hairline. If your hair is thinning , it stops it. If you have a rash, or wrinkles, or creping of your skin - you will have less. If you have that one joint that hurts before it rains - use this and that pain will decrease. It is easy to use and comfortable enough that you can read a book even while it's on your face. ** There is a visible and marked improvement of your skin after using this. And your joints will feel more mobile and refreshed. It is amazing. **

I thought this was some kind of gimmick light but for the price I had to try it. I felt zero heat so I thought I'd just use it a bit longer. Bad idea. Stick to the 5-6 minutes! Now I should preface by admitting I'm a ginger and have gotten sunburn from the moon but I could feel I got too much sun after an hour sitting at desk with the light mounted 4 feet above my head on the basement sealing.

Works great and gives reasonable coverage.

These red light therapy lamps easily fit into the screw-in /clamp on aluminum fixtures that have been around for decades. These spotlight shaped bulbs have 18 LEDs in each spotlight bulb. (9-650 freq. and 9 aprox. 860 freq. (near infra red), so 18 LEDs in each spotlight bulb. I've noticed they are brighter than the red lights that come in the flexible pads.
