Worked great for replacing IBM 4869 connector someone had cut off!

It is a little large for a 9 pin but works great.

The first order I received the frame around the pins was bent so bad that it would not go onto a female DB37, and it was not just the frame that slipped over the plug or I would have just bent it straight, it was the whole metal part that was bent. I could see where this could happen, I do not think it was a shipping issue so I order a replacement. In the second order, 2 terminals on one of the connectors did not have the internal clamp that tightens/loosens with the screw on the terminal leaving me with a 35 pin verse a 37 pin connector. If anyone thinks they may have this issue, you can test by trying to remove the screw on the terminal all the way. If the terminal has the internal clamp the screw will not come out. If the internal clamp is missing the screw will come out of the terminal. On a good note, the connectors do include a ground pin, not included in the 37 pins. The ground pin grounds the metal frame on the connectors which it a helpful inclusion. Like I said in the title, for me these are a great no solder option, but the implementation is not quite good enough.
