VGA to HDMI Adapter, 1080P VGA Male to HDMI Female Converter for Laptop/Destop

It is surprising how hard it is to find a video cable that works from VGA converting down to HDMI on amazon. Most of the cables I've seen on amazon DO NOT convert the signal in both directions. Nor do they always point out that fact. Very confusing. This one does however, just plug it in. No setup necessary. It needs power but you can just plug it into an open USB port. Or use a cell phone ac adapter. It gets very slightly warm. But it doesn't seem anything to worry about. I usually leave it on for 8 hours a day and it works fine. I use it in 1920x1080 resolution and the picture quality is great. Good product.

This item works great!This instructions are not real clear and i could not get it to work at first. Then I realized the adapter needs USB power to work.Be sure to plug the USB cable into the USB port on the computer and in to power the adapter.

I'm really hoping this is user error because I was so excited to have this adapter to use for basketball games streaming from my refurbished HP Elitebook. Put the adapter together, connected to the HDMI port on the TV, plugged it in, got the message on my TV to "change resolution settings". So I went into my computer Settings and tried, one-by-one, the resolution settings for my desktop. My computer detected the adapter but I kept getting the error message to change the resolution, no matter what I did in my settings. Yes, I tried projecting only on the connected device; yes, I tried duplicating. It isn't working. I'm pretty frustrated. Will consult someone who knows better than I do, but this has not been the "easy" process that the seller boasts. This is minor, but there are definitely multiple typos on the packaging, too, which usually makes me wary that it's bad product. Maybe it's a bad product, maybe I got a bad egg, maybe I AM the bad egg. Not sure yet. But until it works for me, one star.

Mighty...perfect products, really easy to set up and well packed. this is a single way converter, only convert vga signal to hdmi signal, and it comes with the audio cable and usb cable. and this item uses metal shell, not those cheap plastic, recommended

This works great; I have used it for presentations using my old Toshiba laptop, which lacks the newer hdmi video. However, VGA produces a somewhat smaller picture than pure hdmi.

I used this gadget to connect an older laptop which has only VGA video output to a Smart TV for streaming. The combination of the VGA wire plus the Audio wire to the converter provided the HDMI input to the Smart TV. It did work as it is prescribed.

Easy and it worked perfectly, once i figured out how to put together. There were no instructions.

サーバにはVGAポートしかないことが多いが、高価なKVMディスプレイを買うまでもないということでこの商品を購入しました。中華製の安い液晶ディスプレイ（1080p）のHDMIポートにつなげました。サーバのCUIの画面をうまく表示できています。問題なく使えています。USBポートから給電するために、USBポートもつなげましょう。ここで少しハマりました。

PCとサブモニターを接続したものの何も映らない。

パソコンと外部入力機器、モニターなら接続のために購入しましたが、繋いでも何故だかうまく行きませんでした。なので、試せないので星一つです。他のケーブルで試したらそちらではうまくいったので、理由はわかりません。作りはしっかりしていて、梱包も丁寧ですし、発送も迅速なので、ショップとしては、申し分ないと思います。

古いモニターなので、相性が悪かったのでしょうか。何も映りませんでした。
