If you’re hesitating thinking why would I spend this amount of money on these, think again because they are elite! My daughter has loved these since she was two. My husband and I find ourselves building with them too when she goes to sleep. They are sturdy, easy to clean and easy to store away.

Premium magnet tiles
Having 3 kids, we have gone through many magnet toys, including Magnatiles, Playmags, Magformers, Magna-qubix, Tegu, and now Connetix. I have to say that these are are probably the most expensive set (although we never got Tegu in bulk), but they’re also my favorite. They are the exact same size as the Playmags, but the magnets are much stronger and prettier. They stay and stand up well when building a high wall, while the Playmags have a frustrating tendency to fold in on themselves if not well supported. Overall, I would recommend getting a Playmags 100+ set (~$40) to start to see if kids like this type of toy, and when additional pieces are needed, which they will be, then add 100+ set of connetix ($150). This combination gives you the most variety and bang for your buck.

Sturdy and fun
Grandkids love playing with these so far. Lots of ways to get creative that normal building blocks don’t allow for. They are standing up to normal little kids use and still look great. Expensive but worth it for the fun they provide

A gift the kids love.
I purchased these as a gift and kept hearing how the kids liked them. I visited a year later and they showed me what they could make with them. Wonderful! Easier for them to manipulate than other building sets, and there are more possible shapes. I recommend them!

spendy. but worth every penny!
I bought several of these sets for a birthday and even though it hurt the wallet a bit, they're amazing quality! I really love the pastel colors and the magnet strength is better than the cheaper ones. my boys are consistently surprising me at how creative they are with these and they are used daily -- hours of open ended play the moment they arrived.
