I live in a major metropolitan area and I found the reception was poor, particularly while I was taking walks, which is why I bought it. I could not make it through one song with a good signal. In addition the controls are not intuitive and are way more complicated than they should be. The sound even during the moments when the reception was ok, was poor. It's a tin-like sound, very little bass or dynamic range. The ear phones are not marked left or right, this is a first for me. Finally, it's made in China. I would give anything for an FM/AM radio I had in the late 1970's. Much smaller and amazing sound. I think it was made by Sony or Panaonic, from Japan.

Apparently, you HAVE TO use the headphones that are included. I checked everything prior to ordering but missed in the big one, no sound without headphones. I bought it as a gift for someone. So now what? That should have been noted in the original post about the item. It's going to be more aggravating to send the freaking thing back. It says to please select a star rating, but I can't actually judge this fairly because I didn't listen to it. State in the beginning a radio with NO speakers.

The first one I bought came with a cracked screen and wouldn't work. So I ordered a replacement. It worked one time and would not work again. It wouldn't even turn on the second time. Piece of crap. DO NOT buy this radio.

This radio is light and compact and, so far at least, the battery life seems good. Unfortunately, the FM reception is hideously poor, which is the critical criterion for a radio. It fails to pick up a signal in any but the most ideal conditions and then drifts. I have a very similar radio that is several years old and the battery is beginning to fail, but the reception on the old radio is far superior to this one. Avoid this product.

This is a real piece of junk. Instructions are not clear.It's just not worth it to return it. I'll donate it to the local thrift store. Maybe someone can figure it out.Poor reception and quality
