Metal Earth Fascinations Harry Potter Burrow in Color 3D Metal Model Kit

I’ve seen some very harsh reviews of these Metal Earth Models written by people who don’t know how they work. People get upset because they bend too many times and they break the metal. If you go slow and really pay attention to the directions, this won’t happen. That’s not a flaw in the product, it’s the nature of thin sheet metal. I love these little models and I’ve had fun assembling many of them.

It was a pretty fun model, a little uneasy towards the end with just loose tabs for the scaffolding.

If you love jigsaw puzzles, and crafts, boy is this the thing for you. I believe this is my 7th metal earth figurine but was one of my favorites to build!

A little harder to fit together. The chimney top was the hardest part. Make sure you get the first floor walls in the right place opposite each other. The colored door goes in front, the 2 side walls with cut outs for the roofs go opposite each other. Easy to get in the wrong place.

First of all, it isn't like the picture..there is some color, but not much. I like the image, and the finished product is suitably wonky. The disadvantages are the same for all of this companies products...they are impossible to put together without breaking parts and having to fabricate workarounds. Instructions are clear and easy to follow, but almost impossible to put into practice. Everything is so tiny, that if you don't get the parts to mate perfectly on the first try, one of them is sure to break while you try to get them to match. I like fiddly stuff, but these are just too much. I have put together several of the products and on some of them I felt like just giving up and tossing the whole thing away.

Some smaller pieces broke but it came out so cool.

Got this as a gift and they loved it! Fun to build and looks great.

This was great challenging for my 15 year old but focus. Result was so amazing

I am experienced in making 1:6 scale dollhouse scale kits and yet had a horrible time assembling this. I don’t know why the developer of this kit made it so small - it would be much easier if twice the scale.

Flimsy tiny metal pieces that break very easily. Managed to super glue the first break back together but the second and third we’re no good. Garbaged the rest of it. Totally pissed off.
