Auto Zone has stopped stocking the Sylvania version for some reason. I installed these in the license plate sockets of my 1998 Toyota Corolla and installed the Sylvania in my trunk. The two versions emit the same light. They are identical with the exception of their outer shape. The Sylvainia version is rounded and the Osram is flat on the top. The light output is crisp white.
