Review: THESE BEASTS ARE MASSIVE and a great deal - i have not been able to use these d ring shackles but they "look" to be heavy duty....they are huge ! They are bigger than the palm of my hand , the outside diameter is 5 inches by 4 inches. the inside diameter of the ring is (at the widest points ) 2 inches by 3 inches. Also the cast of the D rings looks good, no sharp edges to worry about cutting synthetic line or heavy duty rope. The holding pin is not out of round and all the threads were cut right ...Overall, 16 bucks for a pair of 3/4 inch D ring shackles , seems like a great deal. About the only thing i will have to do is repaint them white ...I ordered "black" rings and they will probably be hard to see / find in the dark , in the mud and the rain when i have to use them to get unstuck..

A: From my research when I purchased these the only American hands these touch are yours from unpackaging them, unless there’s an American in the Chinese plant that’s in China. Crosby, Columbus McKinnon d shackles are made in America.

A: 1.3125" exactly.

i have not been able to use these d ring shackles but they "look" to be heavy duty....they are huge ! Genuine Chinese Steel, hang a pair off each one of your chinese bumpers, they work great for tow ropes, and they look cool. WAY more practical than Truck Nuts, these D-Rings hang up high, out of the way until you need 'em.
