For AFO wearers how much higher up in size should we go?

We went 2 sizes up and it worked better for us, but one size up would have worked as well.

Whatever size you are currently using to accommodate your child’s braces. If you are not using shoes right now, take the braces to Walmart or somewhere and see what size is needed for the fit. These are awesome shoes fir kids with braces 👍. This is what we use for my son and they are super easy. Highly recommend.
