I had bought this Kettle in January 2022 and have been using it as my everyday kettle and have taken it camping too. It is super light weight, holds up well to rough scouring pads and does not flake. I have forgotten it on the stove(many times) for at least an hour, but nothing happens to it because it is so well made. Because of the coils it comes to a really fast boil and love it. I do wish it would whistle when water comes to a boil, but other than that I would buy it again, Would love it if they had a bigger model, maybe a 2L would be awesome too. Give this one a five Star.

On a recent camping trip, this kettle boiled water for me reliably every morning. It holds more than enough water for two cups of coffee with some to spare for some oatmeal. Even if you need more, it boils surprisingly fast. When you pull it off the heat it seems to cool just as quickly. It was cold to the touch and ready to pack up faster than I expected. I've had it on grills and directly in hot ash. It boiled water every time and still looks fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Worked great on its first car camping trip.

The thicker the aluminum, the more heat it retains, the more it would take it to heat. Yes, let's assume that, but this is too thin. A bit thicker wouldn't have mattered, really. Because how thin it is, it's light. Doesn't seem as ductible as pure aluminum, so I'll believe that's an alloy of better properties (or maybe it's just the coating). Also, mine had a dent in the (ring's interior) coating, which made me wonder about its chemistry (and health implications), and how long that coating will last. The radiator ring at the bottom works quite well. It really speeds up the heating.
