Reliable PM2.5 and CO2 readings which is why I bought it
Happy with its form, performance and reliability so far after 2 months use. I primarily bought it to see the affect of our woodburning stove. In our "real world" test INDOORS PM2.5 tended to go DOWN when using the stove, whereas when pan-searing chicken in the kitchin PM2.5 doubled, lighting a few candles made it double too, while blowing them out made the device rise 20-fold a few minutes later. As expected when using the device OUTSIDE we measured a rise in PM2.5 downwind of our stove's chimey. PROS Accurate PM2.5 and CO2 (according to both personal tests & official ones). The latter can be easily recalibrated in the Qingping app if needed. CONS Temperature is always 2°C too high and is slow to react (like if you take it outside on a cold day). But in the Qingping app you can offset the readings if you so wish). However, I bought it for its PM2.5 and CO2 readings so rarely use the temperature or humidity readings. When taking it away from the home WI-FI it doesn’t always reconnect when returning home so on a few occasions I had to delete the monitor in the Qingping app and then re-add. NB. If the unit turns off while unplugged then it might be due to the ‘Auto Off While Using Battery’ setting being on something low like 30 minutes within the Qingping app, rather than you thinking it’s actually a poor battery.

A decent portable CO2 monitor
I bought this because it was half the price of the Aranet4 and I am impressed with it so far. The CO2 readings seems to be in line with other CO2 monitors I have placed it near, and seems to respond quickly in tests (spraying exhaled air out of a balloon directly at the sensor to raise the CO2 level and then placing it outside in the wind to drop it). The PM measurements can also be useful for measuring air quality, but the others - temperature and humidity are just nice to haves (you can measure those with a variety of far cheaper sensors). The device itself is a little boxy, but is small enough to carry around easily in a bag pocket. It needs to be placed on a surface, probably out of arms reach so that you aren't breathing directly on it - you really want to get the ambient conditions not those directly in front of your mouth. Whilst I guess you could make it wearable, it wouldn't work great as a wearable monitor. CO2 is obviously the most important here, and is good for monitoring the ventilation where you are. It is portable, with the battery lasting about 6 hours in my experience. The display is easily readable and has convenient coloured LED indicators for if a reading is too high, too low or OK. I tend not to leave it on constantly on battery, but take it out to test when I am somewhere new or at intervals whilst I'm in the office. The readings for CO2 and PM will take a minute or two to stabilise after you take it out of a bag and turn it on to test. My main complaint is that the QingPing plus connection for remotely monitoring it is wifi only, whilst I think it should have bluetooth as well to be a truly great portable meter. I can't connect it in the office, and even if I could, the process for switching wifi is tedious and not worth it when you are moving around. That means you really are limited to looking at the display for the current status and not seeing trends. If it had bluetooth, and maybe a VOC sensor to complete the general air quality metrics it would probably be one of the best all around portable air quality monitors.

Fantastic Air Quality monitor
If Apple made Air Quality monitor, this would be it. It's really pretty, looks great in the room, it's easy to read with large, bright display and easy to understand thanks to LED indicator light which goes from blue through green, orange, red and purple. Display and HomeKit data refresh every second. It may not seem like much of importance, but presumably you need this to monitor air in your home and to help you develop good habits, like opening a window once in a while etc. Well there's nothing more satisfying like watching CO2 level going down in a real time after doing so. Device has build-in battery but only for about 6 hours of operation, so it's not really a 100% wireless device, you de facto want to keep it plugged in. It has a little fan inside to suck air in and out for sampling, which is quite rare in similar devices. Fan is extremely quiet and I can't hear it, even though I have one of those devices right next to my bed. The QingPing+ app is easy to use, looks good and shows data for the past 24 hours in 15-minute blocks as well as max and min values for each of the last 30 days. You can also download 15-minute data for the past 60 days within the app. It would be nice if the device allowed for more than one value to be displayed at the time (I was told by the developer that this is in works) as well as to allow for LED indicator to display different metric from the main display (for example light to indicate CO2 levels, but display to show temperature). I also noticed slight discrepancy in temperature and humidity readings with another similar devices, but can't really tell with 100% which one is more accurate. Would be nice to have offset option for those readings. CO2 levels seem to be on pair within small margin with Netatmo air monitor, so I believe they're being accurate. Good: - looks great - HomeKit compatible - frequent data read Bad - only single metric on the screen at the time - no way to calibrate/offset temperature or humidity - LED indicator shows level of metric displayed on the screen: there's no way to separate the two to indicate different metrics - temperature threshold somewhat surprising: anything below 23 C is considered "slightly low".

Device dead after 2 years
Device does not turn on after 2 years of use. The battery is dead, and I assume the other people are right in that the fan is inadequate and the device overheats, causing the battery life to degrade quickly.

Decent sensor but trouble with HomeKit
The device looks nice, and the readings seem to be fine. I had a problem connecting it to Apple HomeKit.

Good design and well functioning
This air quality monitor has a nice design and seems to be good quality, the software experience and integration with apple homekit is pretty good too, it's also accurate on everything but temperature (where it thinks it's usually hotter than it is, or the app says that 21c is too cold) I keep it plugged in most of the time but the battery life seems to be decent too even having it not turn off at all, obviously you can extend it's life by making it automatically turn off after a while on battery if you don't need or want to constant measure.

Cute device, no UK hardware support
I bought this in November 2023 based on a recommendation and its Apple HomeKit support. Initially very pleased as it worked as expected and looks great as well. However after around two months the air quality sensor fan developed an uneven and loud rattle, making the device essentially unusable in a living space. Multiple attempts to get a response from the manufacturer via the app and mail finally resulted in a recommendation to ship it to their location in Germany at my expense. Absolutely not work the effort and cost for a device of this type.

It works and good value for money
I have an air purifier and I always wanted to see if the values on it were correct. After buying this AQ monitor, I realise that my air purifier readings were correct. I dont keep it running on all the time as this would lower its durability. It is very quiet and does the job and CO2 readings look accurate. It goes down when I open the windows or goes up when i breathe into it or if my partner and I have been in that room for a while with windows shut.

1 year old now, still works good
I got it after long research, Qingping were recommended for precision back then, I am happy with it. Easy to setup and use. Only works around 20-30 minutes unplugged but long enough to calibrate it outside.

Funziona
Lo stiamo testasndo da un paio di settimane per tenere sotto controllo l'inquinamento in casa, e sembra funzioni. L'estetica è piacevole e bella e la ricarica USB molto semplice.

Very happy with the product!
I was in the market for something HomeKit compatible to replace the two different devices I was using to monitor air quality and to consolidate them into one .I was a little bit hesitant to order because the reviews were a bit mixed but the moment I opened the package I was very very happy. The initial impression is very good and when I plugged it in, it started working right away and within a short time the values were reasonably consistent with other similar devices I have. At first, it wouldn’t pair with HomeKit but I followed the instructions to reset the network settings and the pairing went perfectly the second time. Since then, it has worked flawlessly. I love the Homekit integration and the ability to use Siri to query for the different values. The only thing I think which could be improved is the native app for the device. It works fine but it’s a bit bare-bones and not very visually appealing. Other than that, I am thrilled with the purchase.
