The helmet is heavy and I don't know if an 11-year-old is going to wear it all Halloween evening but it's an adult size helmet. It's extremely high quality. Top tier. Bought this for my 9 year old. Is big on him but expected that. It is heavy duty and solid. Great price for a great helmet. If there was anything to complain about is the leather strap in the front. Still giving it a 5 star though because I was very pleased.
