Is there a reason why it’s suggested to not put the plate between the phone and case?

It is only a suggestion for the consideration of higher stability, but the metal sheet must be used, this is the principle of the magnet stabilization of the magnetic bracket

Will this be compatible on the 2015 prius air vent?

Hi, please kindly know that the length of the clip can be adjusted to 25mm max, so if the vent blades of the 2015 prius is less then 25mm and the vent is horizontal, it will fit.

Does it interfere with wireless charging ?

I don't see why it would, but I don't use wireless charging. It simply has a strong magnet that holds the cell phone in many different positions.

Is there anyway to purchase a replacement magnet for the phone case? I need to replace a broken case, so i need s new magnet for the new case.

Yes it should unless they are round.
