Good for adults and children who enjoy creating art
My grandchildren, love to paint on anything that will not run away from them. We have lots of rocks we collect from the creek and this book is very inspirational. The instructions are clear and the pictures are self-explanatory. I enjoy the designs as much as the kids! Great book for all ages.

Amazing Book on Stone Painting
I know Sehnaz Bac from her Facebook page “I Sassi dell’Adriatico” and I’m a devoted fan of her colorful and uplifting creations. I’m also an artist and I like to collect books from fellow artists I admire. I love her three color-by-number books and I was thrilled to find out that she published another book on the art of stone painting. This is my absolutely favorite book on the subject which I’ve been fascinated with since childhood. It offers a selection of 30 different designs that are very engaging and quickly ignite your creativity. The subjects range from trees and flowers, butterflies and birds, sea creatures and animals, to whimsical hearts, abstract motifs, and amazing mandalas. There’s something for everybody and every taste. The book begins with an introduction to rock painting and detailed information on how to find the right stones and how to prepare them. Sehnaz explains which tools and materials are needed and gives an overview of her techniques. The step-by-steps that follow are beautifully photographed and her process is clearly illustrated with easy tips and instructions.I can’t imagine anyone opening this book and not wanting to try some of the projects that are included. It’s perfect for the beginner and the advanced stone painter. From simple projects to sophisticated designs, this book offers challenges appropriate to everyone’s skills. I highly recommend it.

Some cool ideas but not as easy as it looks
I highly suggest getting acrylic paint pens in fine tip to do the artwork details. It’s a bit harder then it actually looks. This author was / is talented. I thought it be a fun snd EASY HOBBY as I’m stuck hone 24:7 almost every day unless Drs fir last 3 years plus. At ghis point it’s been so long ifk exactly anx ive binge watched everythibg. I miss excessive so much but it’s not an option. Either way if you have steady hands and patience it’s fun. But I don’t. So noe I bought crochet kit for idiots. But I csnt even figure out how to start it. Being stuck hime insude for years at 49 w a very RARE outing (1-2x a month for Drs exceot during sons graduation I did my best to get courage to face society since my illness has changed my appearance more then I care to accept or be seen. I did it for my son). But finding a hobby to keep me busy Thst I can physically do has been a bug struggle. I just got crochet in w books but I think I may need to watch a you tube tutorial. Comprehensive skills are not what they were. I’ll try anything but can onky afford these attempts so much. Quarantine on & off for past several years has truly been a testament to the ability of being alone a lot. I’m about ready to get a Spaulding volleyball and mend it Wilson like Tom hanks. Lol. I have to laugh and just keep trying to find my niche Thst I can afford and actually do. I’m really not good at anything but maybe someday I’ll find my niche since traveling & being a mom was my biggest passion in adult life and kids are adults now anx travek is not an option right now. So I’ll keep trying. But if you have a steady hand or are liking fit an art activity for a party I would suggest this but maybe larger rocks.

Torfaen Rocks in South Wales.
We didnt pick this book by accident. We hoped it would help with a community project in Wales and it really has. To cut a long story short basicially there has been an iniative called Torfaen Rocks where children and adults have began painting and leaving stones to be found, then photographed and uploaded to the Facebook page "Torfaen Rocks" which has been hugely successful in getting kids outdoors. As someone who used to do a lot of art, my daughter Eden, has been nagging me to come up with some semi decent designs to help encourage it to really take hold in North Torfaen - Blaenavon where we live. We've seen that some of the more unique rocks have been taken further afield and photographed in places like Hong Kong for the children who really get a buzz out of it. Hence looking for a book like this for inspiration. This book definitely fits the bill for simple yet effective designs. It's a low cost hobby and in all fairness to the guys at Torfaen Rocks it's been lovely to see children away from the I pads and out sharing designs and getting excited about finding others art work.I suspect after over 6 weeks during winter, that this trend Will keep up and design books like this will grow more popular. The owls and animal designs are really cute and the simplicity of the ideas, make them ideal for giving of gifts - who wouldn't appreciate the effort into finding just the right rock and then the hour of drying and designing? A lovely book. A lovely kind of activity.

Superbe livre
Les modèles sont magnifiques, le livre est en anglais mais les photos de réalisation "pas à pas" sont très explicites. Je recommande!
