I have a septic tank, so being picky about soaps is a must. Vermont soaps are not only made from good healthy ingredients, but they are septic safe. They aren't harsh or abrasive and I use the hand soap as body wash. And it works amazing. It is a little spendy, but in my opinion, it's worth the money. There are a variety of scents but you can't go wrong with the sage lime. As a carpenter, I am usually covered in a goodly amount of sweat and grime and Vermont soaps squeegee the garbage right off. 4 out of 5, I am buying this again.

The soap has a slight lemony scent that's not overpowering, foams and lathers well. I was surprised by the slight slippery feeling after rinsing until I realized it was the lanolin.

I love the foam, It gives my hands a good feeling of cleanliness. It is a little pricey.

Unless you shake the dispenser every time you want soap, this stuff separates/degrades/devolves into an opaque liquid at the bottom, and a clearer, less dense, translucent liquid at the top of the dispenser. In addition, the cleaning properties of this liquid (I hate to even call it soap) are quite limited.This should be listed as a foaming LIQUID - not a foaming soap.

I have sensitive eyes & nose so always want an unscented soap & that is virtually unheard of in the foaming handsoap products (or any other soap for that matter). Not only is it unscented but it is soooo very creamy that your hands feel very pampered after every washing.
