Does the intended job well. My workout routine includes several floor exercises (sit-ups, crunches, leg lifts etc) on a hard wooden floor. I bought the mat because of its thick padding. Indeed, it absolutely works as advertised. The cushioning is superb, and makes the workouts much less painful. It rolls/folds up nicely out of the way when not used. The material seems strong and durable, and wipes clean/dry easily. While I was a little leery of the mat based on others' comments about a strong smell, I have not noticed any unusual or strong smell from the mat. Yes, when I'm face down in it I can smell the foam, but it's not very strong smelling. And, more than a few inches from it, it has no discernible odor. Bottom Line: good mat, doing what I'd hoped it would.

Awesome. Comfy and easy to transport

Nice and thick. Much better for my joints than the mats at my gym, which I try to double up then cover in a towel to get the extra padding. The mat doesn't slide, it rolls up very easily and can be stored standing up on it's own wherever. Flattens out quickly after being rolled up for long periods of time. Easy to wipe clean. Has help up for over a year for me, and doesn't show any signs of wear.

The mat was delivered promptly - always a plus - and is perfect for what I need it for. I found that thinner mats were uncomfortable for me when doing pilates and this mat is really nice and thick. I've tried every exercise on this mat that was uncomfortable for me before and now have no discomfort at all. It does have that 'new mat' smell, but it's not at all overpowering - I keep it in my bedroom and have never noticed the odour.
