I purchased 2 packages of 6 motion sensor bulbs from this seller. They were installed in my garage without windows. They work perfectly. They light up immediately when the inside door opens and automatically tunr off shortly after you leave the garage. They don't turn on when the garage door opens since they detect both light and motion. Two bulbs stopped working after over a year of heavy usage because the motion sensor broke. I thought this would be normal but tried to contact the seller reporting the problem. They sent me a whole new package with three bulbs for replacement. The seller has been on Amazon for a long time and truly backs up their products. I do recommend the seller and their products.

No major problem with outside .lighting, but did use this to make finding the car door easy to onlock. then used another one in the cellar for storage area this is used once in awhile. Great for pice of mind.

UPDATE: I decided not to return, put one into pantry and two into hallway. Too bad it didn’t work in the garage. Otherwise, those are great!ORIGINAL REVIEW:1. I put one into garage. The space between the kitchen/garage door is about 8 feet. You have to go directly to the bulb & waive your hands for the bulb to go on. It is installed as directed, i.e. sensor down.2. I understand the process now yet disappointed: most cars have automatic lights. When you drive into the garage - the bulb doesn’t go on as there’s a lot of light from the vehicle. I am assuming this is because the lightbulbs are dusk till dawn. Car has lights on = lightbulb thinks it’s day time.3. Works well in the pantry though. Thus 3 stars out of 5.4. The light color and brightness are good.

Bought these a little over 2 years ago for the mudroom (actually 26 months). They say they last 20,000 hours but even if we had left them on the entire time, it wouldn't be 20,000 hours. I had one go bad after about a year and now another one is out. They only go on when we go to the garage so about twice a day. No way to contact the seller to resolve this. I would purchase from a different seller. Don't buy.

These bulbs work great.The only complaint I would have would be against me, not the bulbs.One of the areas that we have the bulbs are incased in a hood.So they don't detect you unless you are fairly close.Again it's just that one garage...which isn't the bulbs fault the sensor is partially blocked.Good product...will buy more

Great bulb that combines dusk-to-dawn and motion-activated features. The motion activation isn't adjustable - you can't point it to a specific target area as you can with a separate sensor - but if you have existing old-style fixtures near a door or walkway entrance this is a great way to add these features with no new wiring required.

they are bright but don't stay on long enough, a few seconds and there off again.they also don't have the option to leave them on when you need them .not what i was expecting.
