I really love these shelves. I have the short ones on my side wall and the long ones across from our bed (ignore the mess in the picture, we are redoing our bed and bathrooms.) They are sturdy enough for books and frames although I wouldn’t put anything too heavy on them.I used standard wall anchors and screws to install them as they didn’t come with mounting hardware. They seem to be holding up fine. I am not sure I would let anyone hang on them, but they are okay as of now.The framing seems to be more solid on some pieces than others. They are gold leaf and then shellacked, making them quite shiny and I love the variation in the color. If you are looking for something with no variation, this would not be for you.

Solidly built. I got this as an “open box” purchase so that may be the reason for no hardware. The color is slightly redder and lighter in person. Thankfully I dabble in DIY so I have extra drywall anchors/screws and left over furniture glaze… I would probably go down to three stars if I didn’t have those on hand.

These are good shelves, the wood doesn't match each other, but it's ok. One was slightly damaged, but I made it work.

I was skeptical about buying these because of the mixed reviews. However it seemed like the bad reviews because the shelf doesn’t come with hardware, or it arrived broken. The hardware wasn’t an issue for me, and I figured if it arrived broken, I could always return it. Mine arrived in just fine condition, and all I had to do was use 2 screws to mount it to the wall. I love the metallic gold finish! I’d recommend these shelves!

My package of two arrived, and when I open the box, the back piece of one of them had pulled out from all of the screws, holding it together because the screws were so tiny. Once she put a bunch of pictures or any weight on it, I don’t see how it’s going to stay together or hold any weight. Poor quality , overpriced , and one of them you can see the different lines as they add wood together in sections for length. Low quality.
