Garden Solar Lights Cracked Glass Ball Waterproof LED for Outdoor Decor Decorations Pathway Patio Yard Lawn, Warm White 2 Globe (4.7”)

One of the lights never was as bright as the other. I purchased in March 2022. By June only one of the lights worked. They are solar so they need the sun, but they are glass and they collect condensation. The one had enough water in it that it rusted the workings inside the globe. There is no way to remove the water. Very disappointed, as I really did like them. UPDATED. the company reached out to me and they are sending replacements. I thought it might be too late but it wasn’t and they were responsive!! I revised my review from 1 to 5 stars.

I have purchased these several times and have 2 sizes. I have them on the steps from my deck down to a patio below not only for decoration, but for safety, as it is really dark in my back patio area. I gave them a 4 star for weatherproof because I have had to replace a couple of them because they became wet inside and would no longer work. All in all, nice solar lights! I do bring them inside in the winter months.

This globe light is durable. I accidently dropped it from 8' and NO DAMAGE! I was trying it install it and the structure toppled over. But it survived with no problems for 3 years in brutal Florida weather.

I’m purchasing more of these. Bought the smallest size - 3.9 inches- a couple weeks ago. it’s on the deck, and after a day of full sunlight stays lit UNTIL DAWN! All night, even after a heavy rain. Had purchased 2 of another type, plus multiple others in previous years, and this little globe of light is definitely the best. It is more expensive, but I’m paying it because it does seem worth it. I’m hoping the others I’m buying now stand up to the first. And trying a larger size, too. I want to thank all of my fellow amazon reviewers who helped me make a good decision on which item to invest in.

I ordered 2 of the 4.7s. I've been wanting something fun for my new raised bed, but not too much. These were on a Lightening Deal, so I figured I'd give them a try. So here we go: Shipping took several days. These were not packaged carefully, very little foam and the box was beat up, but by the grace of god, they were not broken when I opened the box. Or at least that I could tell- because they are "cracked glass" design anyways! Lol! They were also missing the stakes, so I had to improvise and just placed them each up higher on a small pile of mulch, so they're never just sitting in water. They both DID turn on immediately when I pressed the buttons on the bottoms and I set them in direct sunlight to do their thing for the day. Looking up close, they do look cheap. Literally like "fairy lights" that have been wadded up in a ball and thrown inside the globe. But from far away they do look good. I've noticed a few reviews about them not being weatherproof/leaking. Now I have only had then 2 days and it hasn't rained here yet, but I'll be sure to come back and update if it goes badly! Otherwise, I really can't complain. 5 stars from me.

These seem to be a heavy duty glass and a beautiful warm white. However, one of the globes I received did not work, even after charging in the sun all day. I could not find a way to contact the seller so I initiated an exchange through Amazon. Fingers crossed the new ones I receive will work. Editing to add: I have changed my rating from three stars to one. When my replacement orbs arrived they were in a cardboard outer box. The inner box had return tape on it, the top was ripped, only half the styrofoam was inside, the black yard stakes were missing along with the instructions, and they were put in upside down resulting in one of the orbs being completely shattered. Shards of glass went everywhere. Honestly not sure how the other one survived. I returned for a refund. I also had ordered the smallest size of the orbs and a third set of the large orbs. I ended up returning all sets to be done with the frustration of these. Some sets seemed to work, which led me to order more despite the breakage issues. One large orbs had a real crack on the top, not just a faux crackle. The lights were bright one day, dim yellow the next. The first day they stayed lit for 8 hours, then after that maybe stayed lit up for 2 hours at most. I live in a sunny area, so I do not believe that was the issue. Overall I am sad these didn't work because they are pretty. I have no faith these will last any length of time and it was too frustrating dealing with the broken ones.

**Update: Very pleased that the seller reached out to me and has offered a full refund!! Nice to see there are still some respectable sellers!** Somewhat disappointed. I just received the 5.9 inch light and the two 4.7 lights today. I was so excited! They were all packaged very well and they are beautiful! I placed the spike on the large one and put it in the middle of my birdbath that I've turned into a planter. I even gathered rocks to raise it up a bit off the soil so as not to get any moisture in it. I also placed the smaller lights in some old heavy metal hanging planters and they fit perfectly. They are on hooks under my overhang on my patio. Well, a shower came later and right before it started raining, and just in case the wind started blowing, I decided it would be best if I take down those hanging baskets and brought them into the house until it stopped raining. It wasn't a hard rain, just a nice light summer shower. When it was over, I took the 2 hanging baskets back out and hung them back up. I turned to look at the big light in the birdbath and it was cloudy. Upon further inspection I discovered that water had rolled down the globe and went inside it. I picked it up and turned it upside down and some of the water came out. As I did this, I had covered the solor sensor and the lights did come on, so I was relieved by that. I brought it in the house and unscrewed the battery compartment and removed the battery and I'm just going to let it dry very well in the house before I go any further. My plan is to do what the manufacturer should have done - I'm going to seal around that base so that water can't get in! I'm not sure if the water that did get in will cause any problems down the road or not. For the price of these, that should have been done by the manufacturer. So that's why I can only leave 3 stars.

I didn't order this for the garden, I ordered it for Christmas decor because it looks like an ornament and doesn't run on batteries, but rather sunshine, so I can turn it on all season with no guilt at all and no fear of the batteries dying in the middle of celebrations. It does light up beautifully, does charge easily and has an on/off switch on the bottom. The manufacturer does ask you not leave it in the on position full time, so I'm glad it is for indoor use in our home as I would never remember to turn it off at bedtime outside.😉I am very happy with my purchase and so is my husband!

Great value, well made and, most importantly, beautifully made. Ordered one and the moment we unboxed we knew we’d be ordering one more of each of the other sizes. Intentioned use as a Christmas decoration was perfect and now we’re planning on featuring it on the deck throughout the year.
