Heavy Duty Duct Tape, Black, 1.88" x 50 yd, 1-Pack

They say "silence is gold, but duct tape is silver." Well, let me tell you, if duct tape is silver, then Black Gorilla Tape is pure, unadulterated platinum. This isn't just tape; it's a commitment. It's the kind of commitment your ex should have had, but didn't. I bought this tape on a whim, mostly because I liked the idea of a gorilla being involved in its creation – you just know it's going to be strong. Little did I know, I was inviting a superhero into my humble abode. My life before Gorilla Tape was a chaotic mess of things being broken, or torn, and the constant fear that my cat might finally succeed in dismantling the entire house. Now? My life is a testament to its power. My splintered shovel handle? Solid. Torn canopy tarp? Mended. My perpetually falling under-the-front bumper panel? Nailed in place (metaphorically, of course, with tape). My dignity? Slowly being reassembled, one expertly taped repair at a time. I even used it to temporarily reattach a loose sole on my shoe, and frankly, it felt more secure than the original stitching. I'm pretty sure I could use this tape to hold the fabric of space-time together if I tried hard enough. The only downside? Once it's on, it's on. Trying to remove it is like attempting to convince a toddler to give up their favorite toy – messy, frustrating, and ultimately, you're probably going to lose. But honestly, that's a small price to pay for the sheer, unyielding power it provides. Now to get my wife to stop using it for pictures on the walls; it's tore off not just paint but chunks of drywall when removed. In conclusion, if you have anything that needs to stay put, anything that needs to be fixed with the force of a thousand angry gorillas, or anything that just needs to look like it's been through a very intense, very black, very sticky battle, then this is the tape for you. Five out of five stars, would tape my life back together with it again.

BEST duct tape. When you want it to hold, you can rest assured that this quality Gorilla tape gets the job done. Every spring, I tape up my heat pump, which is outside, with a nylon screen to keep cottonwood from getting into the internals. And the tape stays put the entire season. I’ve used it for many other things, and the adhesive they use is extremely sticky, which is what you want, and the tape backing is very strong. It is the right thickness, so you can pull it tight onto whatever you’re taping.

This stuff is awesome. It's easy to tear off a piece, but it's VERY strong and sticks extremely well to just about anything. The only thing is, be sure you are applying it exactly where you want it to be; it tends to leave adhesive behind if you remove or reposition it. It will still really adhere to the new place, but the adhesive left behind is kind of messy.

This stufc is the bomb. You will not find stronger tape anywhere. If it sticks to itself, throw that piece away because it won't come apart. I feel like you could hold a car together with it. Very sticky and holds...luke a gorilla. I haven't tested its performance with water, but it won't come off easily otherwise.

I loved this duct tape. I always used it for my balikbayan box and it hold the box really good.

Superior product to any other duct tape. Sticks better to everything, metal and plastic. Only duct tape I will buy. Worth the extra cost.
