Review: Love love love - Only bottle the baby will take. My g baby had all kinds of expensive bottles and nipples. Advent dr brown como’s, lots of parts in some of these .. I wanted playtex because that’s what I had for my kids, but they really don’t have these any longer and they are $$$$. I’m a nurse and worked with babies a long time ago when Nuk first came out. Most baby’s rejected the nipple, bulky, but these are a new design, slimmer, easy to wash and sterilize in a machine not a lot of cumbersome parts and reasonably priced . I think bottles now days are just a lot of bs smoke and mirrors . Remember in the hospital they used Nuk or standard ready to feed nipples?? Ok so a few babies have colic most don’t and IF you burp frequently and properly then there should be no issues.Our baby takes Nuk great and loves them. Oh and easy to handle too! Plus a little vent on top and they DONT leak. Save yourself a lot of trouble and expense. Keep it simple and you’ll be fine. Billions of babies born don’t need fancy tricks just good clean functional equipment until they grow to the next thing! Thank you Nuk !!

**Q: Are these bottles glass or silicone?**
A: Silicone

**Q: How does the safetemp work?**
A: When the liquid in the bottle warms up the safetemp strip turns white. You need to know that these bottles break/crack very easily. I had 8 bottles total, 4 small and 4 big and now I only have 1. They never went in the dishwasher and they still cracked. When my daughter would set it down on the ground or if she was laying on the ground drinking her milk she would just drop it to the side and it would crack. Very poor quality plastic, which is sad because I loved this bottle and the other nuk brand bottles are great. They just need to get better plastic for this one.

**Q: Are these safe to put in a bottle sterilizer?**
A: Yes I got them for my grand baby

**Q: How to sterilize bottles and nipples?**
A: I wash with baby dish cleaner and then boil the bottles in water. Soon as it steams , I take them out to air dry.

These are AMAZING. I am a first time mom and have trialed a few bottles. These are the winners! I love that there are only a few pieces so they are very easy to wash and easy to assemble. The bottle nipple starts with a slow flow (size 1) which is nice for a newborn and I have now switched to size 2 for my four month old. My baby breast fed for a while and also did bottle feeding and she didn’t have any nipple confusion at all. There is also a small vent in the nipple that allows air to escape so she hasn’t had any problems with colic either (at least that I have noticed). These bottles were recommended to me by a friend who swears by them and now I am gifting these to my sister who is having a baby soon. I wouldn’t go to any other brand at this point. Worth it to me!
