We already had it resting back against some uprights. The three pairs of bolts included in the kit made sure that we could attach one end of both straps directly to our Samsung TV. The screws in the kit were just right for securing the other end to the wooden platform holding the TV. The friction clips on the straps make it so the straps can be adjusted the hold the TV the way you want or to readjust it as needed. The one thing these straps won't do is hold your TV against falling backward, so be sure to include that in your plans. If you need to keep a TV from falling forward or being pulled forward, these are the straps to get. Review: Very nice item. Easily installed. - The straps arrived as scheduled. Very easy to install. Plenty of hardware for various possible situations. Mine is attached to the back of the stand it sits on. The back of my TV sits fairly close to the wall so if it were to tip back I think it would not fall over. I hope I never find out. Nice item especially for the price. All metal hardware too.
