Size is perfect. I went with wide because I need it across my toes for some brands and I didn't want to have to return it the regular didn't work, but I feel like I could've gotten away with the regular width, but still think they'll work, just a little extra room in the toes. I got them on sale so they're definitely worth the money! They are the MOST comfortable boot! They hold up super well. I have hiked major trails in Kentucky, went through mud, wet fields, stood long hours in my shop on concrete - and my feet always feel so good and solid in them. I ordered wide and they are truly wide boot, but not swimming in them. Cushioning support is awesome - no break in required for these at all! These boots have great traction and ankle support; good for flatter, somewhat steep hikes. However, after about 30 wears, I did notice that my toes hurt from the hard toe box when I go down on steep hikes.
