My 14-year-old son is autistic and has always had a hard time with hair washing. I bought these hoping they might make the process easier—and they worked! He actually let us wash his hair with no issues. They smell great, fully saturate the hair, and leave it feeling clean. 10/10, highly recommended for autistic children.

I purchased these for my aunt that can’t comfortably sit in a chair to wash her hair in a sink. I was skeptical the first time, they were only so-so and didn’t seem to clean the scalp well. The second time was much better. The key was to wash the hair until the cap creates suds in the hair, and to spend at least 10-15 minutes per cap washing the hair. She wants her hair washed every two weeks. I use two caps. After heating and using the first cap, it gets her scalp clean, the build up that can occur on the scalp shows in the cap after it’s taken off, her hair doesn’t usually suds with the first cap. After heating the second cap and spending about 10 minutes, there are LOTS of suds from the cap in her hair and there is no build up in the cap which indicates it’s clean. The number of caps used depends on how dirty the hair is. These caps get her hair and scalp really clean, I am pleasantly surprised. These work on ALL hair, even kinky, coily African American hair. Some may think it’s dumb to specify that but sometimes, products don’t work well on everyone. Do not heat the caps up for more than the15 seconds - that is long enough or it we’ll be too hot. Leave in conditioners, etc. can be used if the hair seems dry after using the caps. The same way hair needs leave in conditioner/moisturizers after conventional hair washing, the same is true after using these caps. These are great. When I run out them, I will definitely be purchasing again.

Were easy to open but mine were outdated.

After doctors required me to stay completely off my foot/ankle for several months I was not able wash my hair very easily and ordered these shampoo caps. I honestly didn't expect much and was very pleasantly surprised that the caps did a decent job of cleaning my moderately oily hair. Super easy to use. Just unwrap, place cap on head with all hair pushed up inside the cap. I placed the cap elastic behind my ears and massaged the cap contents into my hair. I didn't bother having it warmed up in a microwave since it was summer and the cool feel was fine for me. My hair came out nicely. I toweled dry, combed, added my favorite mousse to give my hair a bit of body once it dried. I don't normally ever use conditioner because I dislike its effect on my hair but the conditioner in this cap did not make my washed hair look or feel oily. The cap's scent could use some improvement though. It had a mildly chemical aroma but was tolerable and the scent did not affect my hair. It's a useful product when one cannot have a "regular" shampoo.

Hi, I haven’t done a review in a long time, but this product did deserve one. I’ve been bedridden for about nine months now and it’s not easy washing your hair so I saw this and decided to try it. I live in Lynn, Massachusetts, and it’s been really cold so I asked my husband to put the package in hot water just to make sure I didn’t freeze my brain. After I put it on my head I rubbing it and it was easy and after her robbed for a long time in several areas, I decided to take it off, and my hair looked actually wet, then decided to style it like I always do and realize I really need a haircut. It was easy to dry in style. My hair felt really clean. and my hair is shiny.Here are some pictures.

The cap itself is huge. I tried holding it on my head while my husband massaged my hair and scalp. It was a fight! I just had another brand with a 'normal' sized cap. I would not choose this brand again.

These work very well, especially after a haircut to remove excess hair particles. After warming slightly, our son states they are very soothing to use.

No one wants to be in a situation where they can't shower or wash their hair in the sink...but that's what happened to me when I injured both of my knees at once. These are a life-changer. They really do work. I know that you do not have to rinse after use, but I do. Just to get that feeling of water on my scalp - a quick rinse under the kitchen tap. Clean scalp, fresh shiny hair with lots of body and it keeps the hair clean for 5 days. Excellent product when you need it.

Would not recommend, these leave hair feeling terrible not dry and soft
