I’m happy you told me not to get it caught on power lines and to wear non skid shoes.** A: The assembly is no different than buying any other rod and reel, the reel affixes to the rod and is clamped down by the pressure screw on the lower handle. You extend the rod by pulling each section out, being careful to keep the guides in line. The easiest way to add line to the spool is to run line down the guides, tie it to the spool and reel it onto the reel until full. Remember to apply some tension to the line to get it packed tightly on the spool. It doesn’t need to be a lot of tension, but enough so it wraps tightly. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As described *by A***R on 3 August 2025* Great travel rod ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The item was delivered as advertised *by J***Y on 28 May 2023* although not tested the product looks great and sturdy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The older version is way better than the new ones! *by T***S on 29 May 2021* I purchased their 12ft pole (no longer available) for surf fishing and it served me very well, You guys should really bring it back!
