Mighty Paw Dog Training Treat Pouch, No-Spill Magnetic Clasp, Black

UPDATE: When I said I hoped this would be my last treat pouch I'd have to purchase, it turned out to be right. Mighty Paw will actually replace the pouch if anything breaks. After a couple of years of rough treatment and daily wear, some of the stitching started to come undone. I got in touch with Mighty Paw and they sent me a brand new pouch for free. You really can't ask for better than that. This is a company that stands behind their products and workmanship 100%. Don't bother buying from any other company if they don't do that. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is my third, and hopefully my last treat pouch. The first one I lost on the second day because it had a crappy plastic clip and nothing else to secure it, so it just fell off somewhere. So I tried another one, which was advertised as having belt straps on the back, but instead came with a crappy plastic clip. Because this one also had a carabiner, I managed not to lose it, but the plastic clip would either come off the pocket I had attached it to, or it would come off the treat pouch itself. After a few months I eventually lost the plastic clip and it still worked with the carabiner, but dangling instead of attached. At that point, I'd had enough. Finally, I found this product! It has a proper large metal clip that will not come off the pouch and stays attached to whatever you put it on. It also has adjustable straps that can be used like a belt around the waist, or like a bag strap across the body. AND it has belt straps on the back too, so there are three different ways to secure this pouch, and all of them work. In addition, this is a well-made pouch with fabric that seems like it will be very durable and easy to clean. It has a poop bag dispenser, a mesh pocket, plus another pocket in addition to the main treat pouch, so you can use it to carry keys/phone on your walks. The magnets on the treat pouch actually work and will keep it closed, unlike that first pouch I got that was supposed to do that but left big gaps. Now that I know Mighty Paw makes quality products, I will look for them again if I'm looking for more dog accessories.

This is a great dog training bag! I can put my puppy’s entire lunch portion of kibble in this bag and train with it, and it would hold even more. It has a nice long strap which allows me to wear it crossbody. The material is thick well constructed. The magnetic closure is strong enough to stay closed yet I can still get into it with one hand. That’s important if you are bending over to give your small puppy a treat. You don’t want kibble spilling out everywhere. You’ll want to be able to get into it with one had because you will have your puppy on the leash with the other hand. It has clips on the back if you want to wear it on your waist and the strap will convert down to go around the waist. Lastly it holds a roll of poop bags which is super convenient and has room on the front of some miscellaneous items. I slide my iPhone 15 Pro Max in that pocket. It’s not completely seated but it’s deep enough that the phone stays put. I can’t find anything wrong with this bag, no fatal flaws. I highly recommend!

PROS: -I love the size of this bag and the various compartments. The main pocket is large enough to hold kibble as well as a variety of high and low value treats inside. I like to use the zippered pocket for my dog’s gentle leader and the mesh pocket for my dog’s clicker. -I love the material of this bag. It is a good quality bag. I’ve been using it for 5 months and it still looks brand new. It does not wear or tear easily, and it dries quickly if it gets wet. -I LOVE the fact that this bag has a poop bag holder. Enough said! CONS: -I wish the strap was more adjustable. This bag has a very large strap. It will not fit around your waist if you are smaller/skinnier person. I am a US size 4, and I had to tie 2 large knots in the strap so it would fit around my waist. -The magnetic closure is ANNOYING. To be fair, most dog bags on the market have a magnetic closure. But, when you are leash training your dog, you need to pull treats quickly. The magnetic closure makes it difficult to pull treats out quickly, especially with one hand, because my other hand is holding my dog’s leash. Overall, I think this is one of the best dog bags on the market. Could be better, but I still highly recommend it! 4.5/5 stars.

Been training a lot with my puppy and I love this durable little bag. Not too heavy to use the belt clip and keep on your belt and it’s easy to access. I love that it also doubles as a carrier for your phone if you want and a poo bag can fit in there.

The magnetic clasp is much better than the spring snap type. Much fewer spilled treats. Well made.

When this bag first arrived, I thought it was too large. But, when I take my dog out, I have to carry my phone and my keychain. This pouch has enough pockets for the training treats, my phone, and my keys. The strap is adjustable so the bag can be worn either around the waist/hips or as a cross-body bag. it also has a belt clip. I love the fact the top has a snap closure. I can easily get into it with one hand to get treats and it snaps closed on its own. The fact that I can also put a spare roll of poop bags in the side pocket is a bonus. When I forget to refill the container on the leash, I know I have backups.

The first treat pouch I bought seemed nice but it was cheaply made. The clip broke on day 1 and the magnet made the treats shoot out. It was awful! This thing feels like A Lexus. Well built, useful pockets , even kinda fashionable the way you wear it around your shoulder….10/10. Also I love that it has a pocket to put your poop bags so you can tear one out quickly when needed! Extremely useful! I feel like a professional handler with this thing!

I waiting for a while to leave a review so that I can comment on durability. Overall, this is a great treat pouch which has so far shown no signs of wear and tear and is exellent value for money. Pros: - Good size: large enough for a good amount of kibble but without being bulky - Practical: it has a handy zip pocket for keys and another one for poo bags plus a front net pocket - Sturdy and durable: even after daily use for several months the magnet opening is still working well and there is no noticable wear and tear to the pouch Cons: - The only downside is the fact that it only comes with a shoulder strap and not a belt. Not a problem for me as I used a belt from a previous pouch but something to bear in mind when purchasing.

Very happy with this bag - was recommended to buy a bag for walking the dogs to help with training our puppy. It seems good quality and stays opened and has sufficient space for phone and bag of treats and keys etc..

My dog loves this pouch! Lol. I do too. It has a strong magnetic closure top but it is easy to get into with one hand. Size is good for my dog (she is a 55 pound Australian Shepherd) but I think its adequate for most sizes. There is a large zippered pocket in the front, also a mesh pocket in the front for bags ( or for whatever) and a smaller bag on the back side that contains a roll of bags. The strap is long enough for a shoulder and it is adjustable. Also there is a belt clip on the back. Stitching looks good and it looks like this bag will last!
