This worked very smoothly.
These work very well for me! They are not being used on a large dog with a ton of hair but rather thin parts of hair that needs to be trimmed. These would also make an awesome personal trimmer haha. Just saying. They do have an interesting and unique feature whereas part of the blade is possibly nylon but It has not caused any issues thus far.Don't judge but I did try it out on the beard first before turning it on my dog. I wanted to make sure I was safe and my dog is one of the sweetest, most kind and just awesome so I would rather hurt myself first than her (but that didn't happen to me and she seemed to have fun barking at it haha). This worked very easily and was simple to use. Here is what I love and don't love so much:Love:ValueCuts wellEase of useSmall and maneuverableCons:Didn't seem to change when I was charging it from a certain color to a certain color. Just stayed red...I will test to see if maybe it was already chargedIt got a little warmer than expected from some heavy use but not painful, just worth watching. I think my other human ones do this too. I'll have to check.I'd rate this 4.5 stars if I could.I think it is a good buy

Great for simple grooming and touch-ups.
These clippers worked just fine for cats and dogs. The sound is a low volume buzz and none of the animals were spooked by it. In fact, they ignored it even when I was clipping off some fur tangles. But these are not professional clippers and I wouldn't recommend them if you are going to do some heavy duty dog or cat grooming – but they are just fine for touch-ups and getting rid of the occasional fur matting or simple maintenance work on cat or dog fur.The cutting teeth are very small and trimming can be a slow process because of it and it will take a bit of patience. It will not buzz right through a clump of matted hair and will take some time to work through it. The two guard combs that come with the clippers are an absolute must and will make the trimming a lot easier. For matted fur you'll have to gently pull up the clump and work underneath it close to the skin and that's where a guard comb will protect the skin and help in working through the fur.The clippers have saved me a few trips to the vet and the dog groomer.Overall, I'm very pleased with the clippers and recommend them.

Works well!
I have a poodle mix with very curly hair and this really helped me trim his hair down. I wanted to give him a little trim and the attachments didn’t work really well with his type of hair and would get stuck. However, using it without the attachments works really well! I tried it on him expecting it wouldn’t cut since it didn’t work with attachments and I accidentally gave him a bald spot. Whoops Lol After I was able to trim some hair using a wide tooth regular comb along with razor, mostly knots, I used it with attachments and it was able to give him a more even trim. It’s a double/longer process but it beats paying $50 for someone else to it. I just wish it came with a wider tooth attachment and it would be easier one step process

Worked well, good on a long haired cat.
Took me awhile to figure this out for use on my long haired cat, who was full of matts. The combs which are supposed to attach, I could not get on, but determined I didn't need anyway. The charging light never went out or turned to green, but I used it (red) as long as I needed to. The cat acted about as expected, and was not afraid of the low buzzing sound. She wasn't thrilled, but let me trim her fur over and over as needed. I learned to cut down the direction the fur grows, not against it. She looks a little ragged, but the matting is gone, and she had a lot less fur to shed.

Ditch the groomers!
After years of dealing with expensive unreasonable groomers that are also hard to find, I decided to purchase these and try it myself. My little toy poodle doesn't look professional but he looks real cute in his short summer cut and he wasn't traumatized for days. These are very quiet and he doesn't seem to mind. I'm not too good at this but in time I will learn. Beats $50 at a hateful rough groomer! If you have an elderly dog like I do or are fed up with groomers, get these and give it a go. You can't do any worse than some of them do.

Best Option for a Cat
Tried lots of clippers. This is the best one I found for my long-haired cat. The sound level doesn't bother him. The blades aren't quite as sharp as I would like to get a skin-level mat removal on one swipe - but he doesn't mind some back and forth as they don't seem to pull the fur. I gave up trying to comb out mats long ago. His hair grows back. Who cares.

Just no good
Not good at all. It keeps getting stuck while clipping. Had to buy a different one that would work. Might work on some kinds of dogs but not mine.

Decent job for the LOW cost
Decent job. I liked the idea and very light weight. Did okay on the short haired BIG cat and had problems on the smaller persian and the ratty hair. It came charged but just not enough power with either of the 2 heads. Be careful putting them on and make sure that they snap into place correctly. Not exactly the blade size that I thought and the hair did get trapped but easy to clean. OK overall
