Nice sturdy badge holder. Obviously works with rf or ir readers. Can hold upto 4 cards in total. The retractable Keychain is also very strong. Definitely seems to be a good purchase to replace my old company issued one

This product exceeded my expectations. The materials are high quality, and the entire construction feels truly rugged. I attached a set of 10 house keys to it, and it held them without any issues. The retraction is strong and reliable. Overall, this is a complete, heavy-duty product that I highly recommend.

This ID holder is made of very strong, quality, hard plastic! It is large enough to hold a standard size ID and credit cards behind it if you have to. I have three IDs slid into the same holder. It clips on to your pants just as a key ring would and stays out of your way on the side of your hip pocket. The clip is made of metal and is extremely sturdy as well. When I'm driving in my car up to the gate to enter my job location and security asks to see my ID, I can literally pull my ID from my hip up to the passenger window and show him without any discomfort or needing to stand or unclip it. The cord which allows you to pull it as long enough to reach the window from a seated position. I live in New York City and I work for New York City Transit authority which deals with the subways. I can also put my ID from my hip at the train turnstile which has tap and Go technology and I don't have to unhook it. Once again, the cord is long enough to use tap and go and continue through the turnstile with absolute ease. Thanks to word of mouth, many other New York City Transit personnel have purchased this ID holder. I've seen at least six others including myself and the list will keep growing because it is so easy to use and it's extremely strong as compared to the light plastic flimsy competition. I will get another to have as a spare just in case anything happens or I lose it! It also has a key ring included which allows you to add keys. If this is your choice, can you also will be able to unlock/lock doors without detaching the ID holder from your hip. This makes it extremely versatile. When not in use, I simply pull the cord and insert it in my back pocket where it sits comfortably. Sitting in the car or at a desk is not a problem. It also gives you a level of comfort knowing that it's safe in your back pocket.

Using this to hold my work badge and love the metal string used in the rectractable clip. I've had the badge holder for 6 months and it has held up to everyday use; however, there are 4 tiny screws that hold the front cover over the badge and I just noticed that two of them have fallen out. I would suggest adding some loctite to them if you order this product. I wish I knew what size and thread these screws were so I could replace them.

Very solid and has worked great for months without the retractor breaking. Good, solid protection and easy to see the badge through. I haven’t had any card reader issues with it when I use my badge to unlock doors. Feels very secure and I doubt there’s any chance of someone taking my badge without me knowing it.

I needed a new one as another one I ordered here on Amazon broke within 2 weeks smh. So I thought I’d give this a try and even though the price is a little pricier for this type of item, I’d say it was well worth it because it’s very sturdy and holds well. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap to me compared to the one I had before. Highly recommend. Easily clips to your belt/pants. The ID holder fit my employee ID card perfectly. Easy to slide out as well if needed.

I’ve gone through so many plastic ID badge holders, from attachable ones to the ones you wear around your neck, and I’ve found that this one works best for me. I only carry a few things, and I mainly use it for my ID in a school setting. It’s perfect when little ones want to pull on your ID because it stays in place really well. I haven’t been able to test the weight limit, since I only carry my ID and a few keys, but with that amount, it doesn’t pull or feel heavy. The one downside is that it can be difficult to take on and off, although I understand that’s part of the safety feature. If you have weaker hands, it might be even harder to use. For me, though, it’s something I’m willing to deal with. Personally, it’s the best badge holder I’ve gotten, and I do think it’s worth the money.
