Tahoe Polypropylene Close Contact Bareback Pad

I LOVE the concept of this saddle, Love the feel, love how light weight it is, and how you have close contact with your horse, love love love. But it leaves one wanting.I had to change some of the nylon straps for leather... Which I should’ve known. Nylon slips. So after five minutes the girth and the stirrup straps will loosen.I’m also disappointed in the material quality. It’s coming apart at the seams. I ride 1-2hrs 2 days a week. Even the crupper d ring area is coming apart 🤦🏼‍♀️At this point it’s a love/disappointment feeling :(I would buy again if they use better materials

Love the idea, don't waste your money. After only riding for two hours, the handle broke. Contacted the company and sent a picture hoping to give this product another shot. I was told it was abuse, not a defect. In other words, it's made like crap but that's not their fault.

Really nice quality. I love this pad. I ride bareback 99% of the time and this has worked out perfectly (without the stirrups). I can't say much about riding with the stirrups because I don't. My sister-in-law who is not experienced in bareback riding loves this so much, she hasn't ridden in a saddle since she tried it. I am actually buying her one of her own today for her birthday so I can have mine back. Very comfortable.

Its very comfortable but made very cheap. It slides to the side very easily and ripped apart on the third ride. Stirups are not adustable to adault length. Stiching tore apart and stirup ripped off when the saddle slid. Do not buy if your not an expert bare back rider with great balance.

I haven't utilized it yet but like it's design. It's a little heavier than I thought it would be but still a lot lighter than my western saddle, I would recommend this item for an aged horse.

Super slick. You would need superhuman balance to say on your horse. The saddle slid sideways, and I fell off on my first ride with it.

Great pad for therapy sessions and teaching youngsters. It provides close contact to the horse and adjustable, flexable stirrups. It is lightweight, offering a great solution to a bulky, heavy saddle for anyone with limit physical strength.I am capable of riding at the walk, trot, canter, and down trail in this equipment. I also am capable of doing all of those things bareback, without a saddle.Note: This isn't a saddle with a tree, so putting any type of weight in the stirrups is not going to keep you on. It is a Bareback pad, designed to teach riders to use their seat and core strength to stay on their horse (which is how you should ride, regardless of the saddle).
