Trying to use it as a diffuser for an led project will it allow light thru?

Thanks for your question. We are not sure about if it can use as a diffuser but it will allow natural light thru. Hope it helps.

what's the difference between the frosted and the white frosted?, because there's 2 color options.

Hello martyna Thanks for your attention to HIDBEA frosted glass film. There is little difference between the frosted and the white frosted, they all provide good privacy protection. The white frosted is whiter than the frosted, and the frosted is more transparent than the white frosted. It should be noted that at night, if the inside light is very bright, people outside may see the inside. Of course, the privacy protection during daytime is very good. Any question please feel free to contact us, we will try our best to help you. Best regards, HIDBEA team

Will a intense heat environment effect removing the film?

Thanks for your question. Please do not worry that our product can be easily removed at any time you want because of its static cling.
