Original Hair Building Fibers Concealer for Toppik, Nanogen, Xfusion (50g, Medium Brown, XL)

If you can afford to spring for the Toppik product, it is definitely the gold standard–you get what you pay for. The Toppik fibers are much finer and do not clump together. Because the premium Toppik product is so expensive, I am willing to step down to the lesser-quality Sampson Hair Fibers, which still does a very decent job of thickening the hair. Since the Sampson fibers are more dense, and therefore more wool-like, you will need to enlarge the dispersal holes on your original Toppik applicator bottle (if that is where you are coming from). I used a drill for this purpose. All taken together, if $50 per month for Toppik is not cause for alarm, I would definitely recommend sticking to that product. If you are on a tighter budget, the Sampson product is a good-to-fair replacement (at a fraction of the price) and definitely worth a try.

Clumps - Does Not Spread Evenly When Applied. Color was way off. You get what you pay for.

I am so happy to have found these refill packs. They are so much better than buying individual containers every time. I am able to spend much less money for way more product. The product is self is high-quality. Exactly what you'd get if you bought 25g containers. It's just that you can get 4x as much product for the same price. Ordering through Keratin Research is also fast.... wish they available through Prime, but it's still worth it without.

I have been using this brand of hair fiber for several years now and it works well to cover my bare spots. However, lately, when I received the fiber, they feel lumpy not as fine and loose as the Cabooki ones that I bought before. When I shake the bottle with this fiber on my bare spot, the loose ones will come out first and the lumpy ones stay behind at the bottom of the bottle. I wish they are finer so I can use all of them to the last bit.

I have and will continue to recommend this product and I will reorder again in the future. The packaging and pricing is a five star to me. I sprinkle a little on my thinning spot in the back and the fibers hide the thinning, my coworkers and friends can’t even tell I’m thinning.
