Used this for statistics class. Super fun

For the uninitiated (like me), stats can be tough: There are many, inter-related and abstract concepts that can confuse, befuddle, and dumbfound a newbie. I know: I have purchased, read (or attempted to read) many stats books -- From 'Dummies' guides, college textbooks, high school texts, to online free pdf documents -- You name it. I have BOXES full of stats books. Then I came across Siegel's book. Holy s--t! What a joy! From the vantage point of teaching (i.e pedagogy), Siegel is a master: He assumes no background on the part of the reader; his explanations are very clear, and the author has a magnificent way of bringing all concepts together into summary form. Stats is not easy, granted; it takes time, discipline, and commitment to grasp and learn (Sorry -- No 'magic wands' exist!), but Siegel's book has quickly become my "go-to" book on the subject. That observation should speak volumes! Super job, Dr. Siegel! A++++++++++++++++++++++

book is easy for understanding, and contains lot of problems to solve, in order to practice your math statistics skills.
