I just received this item and have only used it once. I’m also not one to leave reviews unless I have an extremely positive or negative experience. This thing is great. My mom recently fell and broke her ankle. All of my parents’ showers are upstairs. So I needed a quick solution for an outdoor shower for her. I saw some negative reviews and some dissing on YouTube. So I was very skeptical. So far, I’m extremely impressed. First of all, the assembly is super easy. I do recommend getting the cart for the propane tank and hanging the shower box if you don’t have a way to mount it. The low stand used for the Pro and Max would not work for the basic version. (The cart could use some design improvements). But the functionality is excellent and simple. The water gets very warm - too hot on the highest setting - and water pressure from hose line is very strong. Very happy with this purchase so far.

Came for the camp shower, stayed for the A+ customer service. Input valve had a small leak and they instantly sent a replacement. I’m impressed. It’s rare to find that type of customer service!

Easy to put together but when we went to try it had to call I turned the D battery holder to on & it would open that off/on is just to open battery compartment....Well I guess I didn't read ALL instructions. Called the customer service number & a Very Nice Lady walked me threw it! Thank you Turn on propane Adjust dials Turn on water pump On the shower head is the on/off switch. That turns on the igniter & water. We think we will love this

Yes there seems to be a not completely uncommon problem with the hoses occasionally bursting next to the shower head. I actually found that not too hard to repair myself and it hasn't happened again so there may be a weakness where they are first assembled. You can figure it out without too much trouble. More importantly I want to sing the praises of their wonderful customer service. I thought the water inside the case was a malfunction, but apparently I did not drain it properly. The company had a very nice customer service girl that advised me on how to safely remove the cover and inspect it for damage. With a small amount of back and forth they decided to warranty the damage even though they probably didn't have to. I'm not sure every company out there realizes the long-term benefits of loyal customers. I'm leaving the initial review comment below, because I'm sure there will be other people frustrated and trying to troubleshoot. Removing the case is not that difficult, call the customer service number and they will reassure you that you are not breaking the knobs by pulling them off. Be sure to move the heater to a non-freezing location if you've just been using it, the drain may not be sufficient to get the water out of the coils. I bought this brand because they are well recognized. First the plastic hose to the shower head exploded outward. Honestly they're just really thin plastic. Now I can't even get it to run water because all the water is spraying around inside the casing. I have tightened and taped and reconnected the quick connect. They're as tight as they can get and the water is not coming out from the connection it's coming up out inside the case someplace.

I contacted Camplux directly about a replacement hose of a longer length for the hot water and it is out of stock for 1 - 2 months. I asked customer service about finding a universal option and needing information on the type of hose it is. Customer service both on the phone and via email (as screen shotted) directed me to using a standard garden hose for heated water. I am beyond shocked that the company would direct me to use something not rated or insulted for hot water. What if i touched the garden hose full of hot water, or it touched something else? Damage or injury would likely be the result. For a company to provide guidance like this is negligent. I am returning their product because they clearly dont care what happens. Great company, highly recommend .... if you want to look for an easy lawsuit to file. I DON'T RECOMMEND A COMPANY THAT DOESN'T CARE IF YOU GET BURNED.

So far I have been very happy with the customer service, product quality and design, it looks perfect for my needs. Water heats up very quickly and uses minimal propane. I have it setup on my shower on the back of my van and it has made a world of difference being able to take hot showers now matter the weather!

This is a game changer!!!! We went two years living without plumbing and off grid with no water, I was always skeptical to get any water heater because we have had bad experiences with others, let me tell you this thing is AMAZING! Hot water will never run out, we finally have hot water and it is so appreciated! We will definitely be ordering another one!

Game Changer! We recently went on a 4,800+-mile road-and-camping trip. This water heater lets us take showers wherever we camp (we also have a 30-gallon water bladder). It will get the water HOTTTTT! But I recommend doing a dry run at home first. This was kind of a last-minute order for us, and I had to scramble to get everything I needed to connect the pump to the water bladder. You will also need two D-cell batteries.

Further to my earlier 5 Star rating....I've had the unit for just under two years and in that time I've had 2 issues that I raised with the seller. Their response has been absolutely fantastic and way beyond what one would expect given the passing of time. Each of my issues has been fully resolved with no hint of reluctance or blame shifting by them and just a genuine desire to sort the problems. I would absolutely endorse the 5 stars all over again and if there were more stars they would get them. Have only just got around to fixing up the shower after leaving it in the garage for months following a house move. Took me about a half hour to sort out the pipework, connect the gas and then run wonderful warm water. The only issue I had was worrying about over tightening the gas connection (mentioned in the instructions) but after enduring 2 leaks I took matters into my own hand and tightened it right down. (so that the inner pipe in the connecting bolt was unable to move). Absolutely brilliant bit of kit and hopefully my grubby Labradors will be less likely to bolt than when the hosepipe was brought out to wash them down. If I was still into camping I would definitely have taken this with me as the waterflow and temperature are so easily controllable.

Great asset to camping and living simple. Love the solid build…. Still works flawlessly to this day. Very happy with the quality, reliability and consistency this hot water on demand brings into my camping life. Great for super hot showers and washing dishes! All you need is a 5 gallon pail of water , a battery to hookup the pump and booooooom …. Clean skin and dishes! So glad I bought Camplux brand over the other ones!
