Bought this as a gift for a friend who was getting into matcha, and I bought myself another similar one where the matcha bowl has a pour spout. I love how complete the kit it - I bought them about a year ago and I still use mine. My friend loved the pattern of this one and she also appreciated the quality and value of this item. Comparing it with the items I use, since my kit was from the same vendor, it's very durable. My sifter and scoop are still in good shape, as well as the bamboo whisk, although I know I need to get a new whisk soon. The bowl in the perfect depth and shape for mixing without any spills.

Use this daily, it pops often i think from it being cracked glaze but with the dark inside they're either really small or just haven't cracked enough to show up. It's a great matcha set

This arrives in beautiful condition, with same day shipping. I ordered this set because I wanted a proper matcha bow to prepare matcha lattes and traditional matcha tea. I wanted to make better matcha and less mess. I liked the color and pattern and the price was extreemly reasonable for the full set. I am a bit familiar with the Japanese tea ceremony and Wabi-sabi expressed in pottery so I was expecting a lovely glaze with an earthy and simple design. I was delightfully surprised to find that the glaze shimmers in the light, which is a beautiful touch. The pictures online don't show it well, but you can see the glaze catch the light in the short video I've posted. The booklet providing information for the set is printed on a thick card stock. And the accessories that accompany the bowl appear to be good quality and artfully made. An absolutely beautiful set.

This set has a very nice design and comes with all the necessary tools to make matcha. There’s even a matcha scoop rest, which I thought was missing from the box because it’s packaged underneath everything. Overall, I think everything is of very good quality and easy to clean. The only thing I don’t like is when I pour matcha from the bowl to cup, it spills easily, so other designs with a beak spout might be better.

This is one of the most well packaged beginner matcha kit set. It literally has everything you need/want plus extra. After much use, I find that the whisk, strainer, scoop & chasen bowl is most important. The whisk holder is not super necessary, but definitely useful for the longevity of the whisk. The book is also very helpful for beginners in how to use these provided products. The mat is the one I find the most useless in the most day to day operations. I don't use it at all. But maybe if it was a more serious preparation, then I could see how it could be useful. I've been using it multiple times now and have gone though 2 matcha powders tins. I feel like I would suggest this product for the price and everything that's included. However after much use, I feel that if I had to nit-pick something... I wished that I had chosen a different color bowl. Despite the initial cool design of the bowl, I feel like the color is a bit too dark. A lighter colored chasen bowl would be better to see how foamy your matcha is. Also, the bowl doesn't necessarily need to be this big. A slightly smaller bowl would also be equally efficient. Otherwise, the other products in this box works fine and is still useful to this day.

The bowl will crack or “breathe” after first couple uses, don’t be worried because it does not appear cracked and I believe it is just certain areas expanding when drying. I’ve had it for four months now and it’s held up great!! Also very pretty color and design.

This is a beautiful set. I use it daily for a few months now with no issues. I appreciate the booklet it came with too. I was hoping there was more Green so that it was a dark teal (bluish green) but its pretty much a dark blue to me along with the tea towel that is a navy blue and would've been better if black, I know im being nit picky its just my OCD and liking my decor to match 😁 Its still beautiful but I just would've liked more of a green so it would look "Sea green". You can't go wrong with the set though. Making a beautiful frothy Matcha! I use organic, First spring Uji ceremonial grade Matcha 🍵 💚✨️

Love this tea set. It's so beautiful and at such a reasonable price. The booklet that comes with it is very informative and helpful, and helps make the matcha making and the tool caring process a lot less intimidating. I've been using this set daily since I got it and have had no issue. Would definitely recommend.

Ich bin absolut verliebt in das Design dieses Matcha-Sets – es ist nicht nur funktional, sondern auch optisch ein echtes Highlight (siehe Fotos!). Die Kombination aus Bambusbesen, Besenhalter, Schüssel, Sieb und Holzportionierer ist super durchdacht, und man bekommt wirklich viel für einen Preis von ca. 40 €. Was mir besonders gefällt: • Das Design ist einzigartig und sehr originell – nicht das typische, sondern etwas mit Charakter. • Die Schüssel ist wunderschön und wirkt sehr hochwertig. Laut Hersteller spülmaschinengeeignet, aber ich wasche sie lieber per Hand – sicher ist sicher! • Ein Holzlöffel/Portionierer ist ebenfalls dabei und sehr praktisch. Kleine Abstriche gibt es bei der Qualität von Besen und Sieb: • Der Matcha-Besen ist etwas dünn verarbeitet – aber bei diesem Preis absolut nachvollziehbar und für den Einstieg völlig in Ordnung. • Auch das kleine Sieb wirkt eher filigran, erfüllt aber auch den Zweck. Für mich ist es ein tolles Einsteiger-Set, das vor allem durch die Optik und den Umfang überzeugt. Wer Matcha stilvoll und mit Freude zubereiten will, wird hier definitiv glücklich. Wenn ich irgendwann viel Matcha trinke, werde ich mir vielleicht mal einen hochwertigeren Besen holen – aber fürs Erste reicht das hier absolut! Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ein schönes, bezahlbares Set suchen und gerade erst in die Matcha-Welt einsteigen!
