why did they stop producing this in the larger bottles if they still offer it in these travel sized bottles ?

The travel sized products are still available for the travel industry. The large sized products were for regular consumers. We have no information on why these larger bottles have been discontinued. Many are disappointed.

How does this compare to the “old” Intensive moisture Wrap that was discontinued?

The old one is much better. I had been using it for more than 20 years.

Probably not. It did feel a little sticky when apply, but it can be washed away through water.

Dispenser does not open

I would have given 5 stars but all 3 bottles of lotion do not open with the twist lid. It is a royal pain to have to unscrew the top to get the lotion out. The lotion itself it wonderful however. I would highly recommend Neutrogena lotion.
