What product are you using to deflux this (exact) brand and type? How well does it work? I need to just apply and wipe off 100% of the residue.

i'm using this for bga rma purpose so mosly flux leaves under the ic. i'm using isopropil alcohol and electrolube flu based solutions.

How does this compare to their water soluable flux? ease of cleaning, splatter, smell, tackiness?

I have had no problem cleaning any remaining flux with alcohol. But to be honest there really is not much residue left as long as you do not over due it. As for smell I can't say due to the use of a charcoal impregnated exhaust fan use during any soldering session.

Can this product be shipped via air freight, or is it considered hazmat (flammable)?
