You can't beat that you get 4 strainers , different sizes, for this price! The strainers are made really well. They rest on your bowl via the triangle at the top wonderfully. Of course I can't say whether they hold up or if they rust yet (just got the second set), but as of now they are great. The mesh metal is a thick metal and doesn't feel like it will bend out of shape easily and with cheaply made ones they deform easily and make a mess. These feel and look well made. I would definitely recommend purchasing, very happy with them!!!

**Q: is it made in the USA**
A: The tag says Made in China

**Q: Is there any measurement or gauge of how fine the mesh is on this strainer? Doesn't look that fine in the photos to me...**
A: It's a very fine mesh that can strain quinoa. It's woven with a thicker gauge which lends to its effectiveness. The holes are 1/10 cm.

**Q: How deep are these strainers?**
A: The depth of the strainer is equal to half the diameter of the circle. The smallest 3" strainer would be 1.5 inches deep the 4" would be 2 inches deep the 5.5" would be 2.75 inches deep and the largest 8" strainer would be 4 inches deep.
The smallest one can fit in a standard coffee mug and can be used to brew loose leaf tea, the biggest one is comparable to a standard plastic strainer you buy at the store.

**Q: In what country are these sifters manufactured?**
A: most likely china. But they work and the price was right. I get it, boycot China, but you are only the people and not the CCP. It's a tough call. Lets find another way.

I had a single strainer (the size of the large strainer in this set) that I used for years. Unfortunately, it finally gave up the ghost and needed replacement. This set is great! The strainers are all very sturdy, and the selection is very handy. I do a lot of baking, and these are perfect for sifting ingredients. The shipping was fantastic, and all four strainers arrived in excellent condition. I am very happy with this set.
