Excellent Sealant for Automotive Use!
used it to seal the differential plugs on my Ram 1500. It worked perfectly! The application was smooth and easy, and it provided a strong, leak-proof seal that gives me peace of mind. I really appreciate that it’s designed for high-temperature environments, which is essential for automotive applications. After driving for a while, I’ve had zero leaks and everything is holding up great. The tube size is convenient and has plenty of product for multiple uses. If you need a reliable, high-performance thread sealant for your vehicle, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend for anyone doing differential or drivetrain work!

Great Seal, Great Heat Resistance
I was installing a three-way valve and I didn’t have the means to pressure test my threaded connections until everything was threaded and sweated in place. Once the rest of the fittings were sweated together, I couldn’t tighten the threaded connections. The first time around, I used teflon tape and it didn’t work well. Next, I tried this permatex sealant because it would make a permanent anaerobic seal, and it can withstand sweating connections nearby. It worked great! The connection has been holding for months now with no water leaks. I recommend wearing nitrile or latex gloves when handling, it’ll let you work more quickly and cleanup easier.

Perfect high temperature thread sealant
This thread sealant has never failed me. I used it about a year ago when I installed the coolant reroute onto the back of my Mazdaspeed miata engine. The sealant was used to install the hose barbs into the reroute itself. I also used this when I installed a coolant temperature sensor onto a coolant line on my Miata, this sealant was used on the probe that is screwed into the fitting on the line. The pictures are of the flyin miata coolant reroute and of the in line sensors both of which i used this thread sealant to screw in either the hose barbs into the reroute or the probe into the in line fitting. The sealant has performed flawlessly and never leaked.

Great product but doesn’t come with a top to seal
Great product. Dries naturally and quickly to form fit threads. Unfortunately it is a one time use unless you use some other type of glue to seal it after using because it doesn’t come with a top.

Great automotive thread sealer
good product for use on automotive threads. was using this after changing transfer case fluid and differential fluid. always works well and when used properly no leaks!

Worked when others failed.
In my Q.C. lab days, I had a partner who would periodically measure, with a precision optical comparator, tooling for machining threads. He had gauge wires to check the pitch, and go-no go gauges for quick checks. I really wish they used the same exacting standards routinely in Asian manufacturing. I have had more sloppy parts, with off-spec. threads since the East dominated the manufacturing of many commodity fittings. I actually got parts with an apology note enclosed, that said, to use lots of PTFE tape to make a good seal. I ran out of S.W.A.K. anaerobic sealant, which was my usual salvation for loose threads. A new supply of that is very pricey. PTFE tape failed, Hardware store pipe sealant failed. So I tried this. It is a lot like S.W.A.K. sealant. I let it setup for a full four hours. I re-pressurized the system, and thankfully, no leaks. I like the way it goes on as a thick fluid.

Works great.
Love this stuff. Works great at a better price than the AC delco stuff.

Excellent for gap filling loose or damaged threads
This is an excellent product to fill in threads that are loose or cannot be tightened fully. You have to read the directions carefully. It takes a long time to set, but I needed the extra work time to align several threaded components. Once everything is positioned as you like, you can use a heat gun up to 100 C and then it sets in about an hour. The greatest thing about this product is its gap filling ability, and it sets up semi-hard, but is still easily removable.

I have applied this seal on thread bolt and left it for almost 80 hours, unfortunately still not dry

Works as expected. No leaks after a short setting and curing period. Used it to seal an oil pressure sensor. Heat resistant
