Even though this is my first brush without a handle, I've found that I actually prefer it without. The wood is lovely to the touch, and the bristles are amazing on my scalp. The bristles are firm, but not harsh. Unlike some other brushes I've bought, it does not shed bristles! Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Moves short hair nicely *by C***P on August 9, 2020* I have thick curly hair that I keep cut with a #2 buzzer (covid-19 lockdown DIY haircut). The medium-stiff bristles are a little scratchy on my scalp, but this brush is able to move my short hair around and I think it helps me fake a real hair cut. I expect that when I finally go to a real barber who can make my head look good with longer hair, the bristles on this brush would feel less scratchy.
