Actually works.
We have an older cat that had taken to doing his business anywhere but in his box. We figured we'd have to put up with cleaning his messes for the rest of his life. Out of sheer desperation, I purchased Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract Litter Additive. Honestly, I figured it would be a complete waste of time. But I was willing to try anything. We added it as directed to the his litter box and reintroduced him to it since he had completely gotten out of the habit of using the box.Darned if it didn't work. Our cat first started peeing in the box, then eventually started pooping in it too. The process was not instantaneous, but it was pretty quick!Be aware that this is NOT litter. It is an ADDITIVE. So you need to add it in the appropriate amounts to your litter. I gave it high marks in absorbency and odor elimination because it is unfair to have it judged in areas that it is NOT meant to fix. Your litter should handle those things. This additive will just help ensure the cat uses the box. In that sense it does eliminate the odors of cat pee and poop all over the house, localizing it in the box where it belongs and where hopefully the litter takes care of it.Of course, we have also tried to stay on top of cleaning the litter box out which can help as well. But prior to adding this product, he wouldn't even use a pristine box.

New packaging is horrible
Dr. Elsey’s amazing litter attractant used to be packaged in a big plastic jar with a screw-on lid—it was mess-free and cat-proof. Now it comes in a floppy plastic bag with a zipper at the top. If you’ve ever used the product yourself, you know it looks like finely ground herbs. The herbs and spices we use for cooking are not packaged in zippered bags for a reason. All the little pieces would just get stuck in the zipper and it would be a big mess to open and close the bag. And that’s exactly what we have to deal with now that the packaging has changed for the litter attractant. I have had to pour mine into Tupperware containers because there’s no way it can stay in the bag. In addition, I ordered two bags at the same time, and they came wrapped in dirty plastic with tons of loose product inside. I was afraid to open it because I figured one of the bags must’ve had a hole in it. It turned out the bags were fine, but what a mess it was to clean up my counters and floor and wash the bags themselves. PLEASE bring back the old packaging!

My Cats are using the Litter Boxes Again!!!
Dr. Elsey's sprinkled on top of your Clay Litter (Unscented) & my cats couldn't wait to jump in & use the boxes! They weren't always using the boxes but since using this there have been NO MORE ACCIDENTS! Would highly recommend!

It works.
I used this attractant on top of litter in my Litter Robot to lure two new kittens into the bot. This product did its job- they jumped in, no more uncertainty about the bot.

Do know what's going on here
I carefully followed the instructions and neither cat will use the boxes with cat attract in them.

multicat household, this stuff is great in combination with other measures
Was having problems with multi-cat household accidents, cats not all going where they are supposed to.In combination with deterrent essential oils in water sprayed where you do not want them to go, and scat mats (I save money by making the deterrent myself - lavender and cedar), sprinkle this into their litter on a regular basis to point them to where you DO want them to go. This product was a win for me (very happy bc most are NOT!), and don't need much (tablespoon or so into each litter box once a day, along with baking soda and keep them scooped out).

This product helped direct my feral cat to the litter box.
Our feral cat kept marking the back door, probably because I feed the strays. Using this Litter Additive actually attracts her to the litter box. It's worth it's weight in gold, IMO.
