Carabiners are as light and small as advertised, and strong enough for a hammock +Update
Was looking for a very lightweight carabiner for a backpacking hammock and was hesitant of this product's weight and strength claims, and the warnings of some reviewers. These carabiners really are 11g each and have the specified dimensions. While these obviously aren't climbing carabiners and I tend to doubt the 8kn (~1800lbs force) rating, I hung and jounced my full 180lbs from each of the 5 carabiners without failure or stretching. Load tested with my more durable hammock, and was able to fall into or bounce in it harder than I ever would want to in my more fragile backpacking hammock. Very surprised and impressed by its load capacity. All that being said, I still wouldn't set up a hammock anywhere I wouldn't feel safe falling from when using these carabiners over larger alternatives. Despite its load rating, the seller is not suggesting hanging any substantial weight, so I will not be disappointed if they do end up failing. Don't trust your life to these. Incredible bang for your buck with this cheap, small, lightweight, and strong product that measures and performs as advertised. Will update if they end up breaking with the hammock. UPDATE: Used with my hammock for a 4 night, 5 day backpacking trip. Performed great and was easily able to attach or remove accessories such as a structural ridgeline and underquilt. No signs of stretching such as the wirelock sticking closed against the hook or no longer reaching the hook. Would recommend for hammock camping at a safe height Additional update (3/2026) Have spent dozens more nights in a hammock supported by this hardware without any issue or cause for concern since original review

Great design. Colors. True carabiners. Truly small. But very strong. .
These rocks. As advertised, high quality rated caribiners. Not cheap ones that wear out like they sell for key chains. And they are truly small. Small and so very well made. Good value, too. Colors are fun. Excellent design for any use.

High quality and lightweight carabiners that I trust with a hammock
Great value, work well, extremely high quality, and very versatile. They're incredibly light and feel like they're actually tested for their rating. I use them for my hammock and one on the dog leash. The black color is nice and dark, and the durable finish hasn't come off any of the edges. The spring doesn't get stuck, and it's a good size to get through all of the loops on all of my gear. I've bought another set to use for holding/attaching other things to things. I'm going to keep these around the house.

Small. Cute. Very weak. Good for keys.
Very, very small, just like the cheap mini carabiners popular for use with keys. These CANNOT hold anything even close to the weight of a hammock, even if you are the weight of a small child. Mainly these are just good competitors to the cheap aluminum anodized carabiners sold as keychains. The wire gate will hold up better than the flat metal spring in the cheapo carabiners, and probably won't suffer from corrosion as easily. But make no mistake, these are basically novelty items. The end loop of the wire on this miniature model will not engage with the hook on the aluminum part, because the hook isn't deep enough to really grab the wire under load. So if you put even as little as 15-20 LBs on this for a while, it will probably break the aluminum part eventually. Use them for keys, or something equally light (5 LBs or less). And for larger hands they are a bit awkward, just like those cheapo aluminum carabiners you see everywhere. By the time you get your thumb in there to open the gate, there isn't much room left to actually slip much of anything into the carabiner, besides a belt loop. The larger 15 kN model (from the same brand, FresKaro) that looks exactly like this is also relatively small (just over 3 inches long). It is good for a bit more weight and the wire gate will engage with the aluminum hook, but I would hesitate to try to hold anything more than about 50 LBs even with that model for any length of time. If you need any real load-bearing capability, even for a single-person lightweight camping hammock, go for a locking model that is actually certified for climbing usage (or some solid aluminum rings). There are some locking carabiner models that aren't too big. Like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B6RDB6NJ These are a bit bigger: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B6RDB6NJ I give these examples only because I have both to compare against the different sizes of these wire gate carabiners. There are a ton of properly certified climbing carabiners available.

The clasp of many uses
I'm 80 years old and have lost a bit of hand strength. I purchased these to lock my garden shed and to attach my tools to my cart. They work beautifuly. I'm definitely recommending to anyone!

Sturdy enough for hammocking tested at 300lbs
I bought these for ultra light hammocking they are excellent. Before bringing them out I decided to test them by hanging up a bar with 95 lbs then jumping up and down on it weighing an additional 205 lbs They did stretch about a millimeter but they did not deform once the load was taken off they returned to normal. DISCLAIMER DONT BE TEMPTED TO USE THEM FOR CLIMBING!!!! THEY WILL SNAP IF YOU TAKE A FALL Also verified they are 10 g each
