We have purchased two of these travel bags, and they have been fantastic! They have protected our car seats through multiple flights, and we've never had any issues. The carrying straps make them much easier to transport through the airport, and the material is durable enough to handle the wear and tear of air travel. If you travel with kids, this is absolutely worth purchasing for the peace of mind alone. We've been so happy with ours and would definitely buy them again. Highly recommend!

We got 2 of these knowing that we needed to fit a booster seat with back, carseat for a 1 year old and a hiking backpack carrier into them. We flew to Colorado from Indianapolis. I've seen all the comments about these types of carriers being fragile, easily ripped or damaged and for this type, the top not fully closing. I was pleased with the bags' travel though! This type allowed multiple carry options including as a backpack (HUGE game changer for pack mule dad's through an airport). I wore one pack on my back, one laid sideways with the handle strap securing it on our wheeled suitcases and this allowed my wife to push the stroller through the airport and terminals, letting us spend less time keeping awkward items from falling and more time keeping an eye on our kids and where we are going. The durability was better than expected. There was evidence of large black smudges/scuffs on the back with some other evidence that it went through a trolley and travel system but I'm glad that was on the bags and not the car seats/booster. I would have felt the need to clean this off before putting my daughters in the seats, not knowing what all they ran up against (never trust Airport cleanliness). As for security, the top of the bag is a thick drawstring close with small flap to attempt some degree of concealment. The bag stays closed despite the rough handling it received. After how much stress it saved me during transport and peace of mind knowing that the materials my daughters laid their heads against was mostly clean, this was no longer a point of matter for me. I would highly recommend these bags as I was initially skeptical, but definitely worth the price to me!

This is my second time purchasing this item! I’ve had it for years and have used it on many trips. I just repurchased for my second child’s carseat. It is easy to put the carseat it, good quality, and the backpack straps make maneuvering through the airport a breeze! It has also protected my car seat from scratches and wear & tear from it being thrown around in the airplane.

Purchased this for a 19-day trip in Europe with my 6-month old as we needed to have a carseat. We brought our Graco SnugRide 35 Lite LX Infant Car Seat and it fit into the bag with PLENTY of room left, so much so we got smart (at the end of the trip, of course) and started putting extra diapers, blankets, and clothes in the bag to free up room in our suitcases. The cons of this bag is that the opening doesn't stay closed well. It has two pull ties that you can tie together, but they (understandably) pull apart because of the weight of the car seat pushing against the unsupported side of the bag. The top flap must just be there for aesthetics because it doesn't velcro shut and provides no value. The backpack straps make it a bit easier to lug the car seat around, but make sure to shorten said straps so the bag isn't hitting the back of your calves, and make sure to put the car seat in with the seat itself facing your back (another one of those late-in-the-trip discoveries). Overall, it served it's purpose and we'll keep it as long as we have babies in car seats.

Even with the constant bagging and un-bagging (TSA, arrival at the gate, disembarking the plane, etc.) this was hands-down the easiest way for us to transport our car seat through the airport. I had to run across SLC airport with this thing on my back and our stroller in my arms, and still made it to our connecting flight within our 10-minute window. I can't imagine how hectic our vacation would have been without it. We bought an extra seat for our toddler, so we brought the car seat with us on the flight and didn't check I, so I can't attest to how well it holds up through baggage handling. The straps all seem pretty durable, though the backpack straps did leave bruises on my shoulders until I re-adjusted the fit--make sure you do a trial run at home, friends! Re-folding it into the zipper pocket was tricky the first couple of times, but I could do it on my lap in an airline seat by the time of our return flight home (smooth, smooth, fold, fold, fold, tuck, tuck, roll roll roll, squash, zip, done). The carrying strap used when the bag is zipped into the pouch is long enough that a luggage tag attached to it can still stick out of the drawstring hole at the top when it's fully unfolded and has a car seat inside.

Lasted for 2 single leg flights. Upon arrival from the first flight there were already some holes and then using the shoulder strap it completely bent the metal bar that holds the shoulder strap to the bag. It's the right size and overall the function worked well enough for traveling with a carseat. I was using a graco extend2fit and we checked it - for reference.

Every once in a while you buy something and you're just astonished at how well it works, the simplicity, and value. This is one of those products. Note I purchased this on my own and have received nothing in exchange for this review. We were moving cross country and taking trips to house hunt, see the area, etc. We wanted out 3.5 year old to come with us and the last time I had to carry his car seat (Evenflo Tribute LX), despite being one of the lightest car seats on the market, was a giant pain in the ass. Decided to try the VolkGo and gate check his seat. This bag is (as far as the 4 times I've had to use it) is very well made, it's big enough to fit the Evenflo, it folds into itself into a nice small pouch, the shoulder straps are padded and comfortable, and it closes up nicely. You can see the other review photos that it'll turn dad into a quasimodo hump on steroids. Just a note, you will sweat with this on your back. It's nylon or some other type of synthetic and you will get warm with this thing. Also, be aware that your back is huge, I must've apologized to 20 different people after hitting them with the car seat. This is a great buy and does its job well.

Decided to bring car seat with us during air travel (bag check, not gate check). Bag is ample for Evenflo Maestro booster car seat plus we had room to include a book bag loaded with clothes! Bag quality is thick enough to be durable, but thin enough to be easily managed when unfolding, folding, closing and opening. Closure is convenient and so easy my 4 year old could effectively help! So far this bag has been through four flights and still looks new. The back-pack straps are a wonderful touch and I used that feature exclusively when moving the car seat from place to place. It allowed me to have both hands free so I could manage two pieces of luggage, an umbrella stroller and, of course, an excited 4 year old! Lastly, the company customer service is excellent!!! I had no reason to reach out to them as their product arrived as expected. However, in an effort to understand their customer, they contacted me - it was as if I walked into a store and engaged with staff in person. Even without this interaction I would still take the time to share these accolades. This product will be the last thing you have to worry about on an excursion. And that is what makes it so wonderful...you can focus on your family and make memories without worrying if your car seat cover is doing its job!

Do not buy this bag! I would give it zero stars if I could. Extremely flimsy, very thin material and poor stitching. The bottom of it ripped open after the first use. I genuinely didn’t think it would make it to our return flight. I had to layer blankets over the hole to try and keep the car seat in. This was used on our infant car seat btw, not a bigger toddler seat. No way could this bag handle a bigger car seat with an isofix base. Shocking product, not fit for purpose at all!

The bag "looks" good quality. However after the first trip using it the plastic cord/string lock broke. I kept using it, tying a knot in the string when checking it. Two trips later and the bag itself was ripped. I am not sure if I was unlucky or what happened. I am still giving 5 stars because I contacted their customer care and they promptly took care of it.

Worked really fine for us to carry our pretty large car seat on the airplane. We were able to wear it as a backpack, and it also sat on the suitcase fine. Can definitely recommend it as a cost-effective option.
