**5 year update - I have used them every winter and on many camping trips and these are still holding up. No pilling, no holes. I wash them in the machine with cold water and I've never put them in the dryer. Easily one of my best Amazon purchases ever.** These are so comfortable and they wick moisture like nothing I've worn. I went from very wet to almost totally dry without changing - it was hard to believe. They're quite warm I wouldn't wear them under joggers for a winter jog, but they were perfect as the only base layer at -1 to -5 Celsius, maybe even a bit colder. They were a tiny bit on the loose side, but I'm sure that'll change with washing. Great product! Highly recommended.

Realmente no me esperaba tan buena calidad con estos pants térmicos de lana, cumplen con su función y valen cada peso. No pican ni dan comezón, al contrario son super suavecitos y resistentes. Ya volví a comprar otro más. Mi talla fue M mido 169cm / 56 kg y me quedaron perfectos. Los recomiendo.

The fit was perfect and as expected from everything I had read. The weight of the fabric is sometimes difficult to determine but not from this supplier. They come in a several densities from light to heavy. 190g/m^2 to 250g/m^2 to 400g/m^2. I chose the medium weight thinking the heavy might be too warm and also, the heavier fabric is much more expensive. These merino wool products are definitely not inexpensive but the quality is not lacking either so I feel it is fairly good value.
