Honestly, this looks like a piece of crap. I took it out of the box and thought to myself that I could get something nicer at Dollar Tree. I bought it because my chiweenie-esque Little Miss has another skunk that I actually did get from Dollar Tree, but she tore the stuffing and squeaker out. But it looking like crap doesn't really matter, my dog only wants to inflict pain and suffering upon him, not admire his beauty. First I want to note, this does not have glued on plastic eyes like another review said. The eyes are felt and sewn on. Little Miss immediately went for them. I can't recall if she was able to rip one off or not, but if it does happen it shouldn't cause any sort of safety issues due to the size and material of the eye. Mostly she just whips him back and forth trying to break his neck, or we play fetch with him. He gets all wet and smelly like other similar toys, so that sucks, but whatever. Anyway, my point is, there is nothing special about this toy but its fine and serves it's purpose. I do not think it is worth the price though, I'd pay $3-5 maybe. Edit: Many months later. Eyes still attached, It is her favorite toy, Five stars!

My dog religiously tears up EVERY stuffy we get her. So, I decided to go for a stuffingless toy and this skunk delivered. We've had it for a few weeks now and it still has its tail, head, and legs. She did take the squeakers out on day two but that was expected. Since there is no stuffing, there is no desire to tear it apart to pull out the insides. This is great for dogs who detroy stuffed animals but also LOVE stuffed animals.

I have a 10yr dachshund (wiener dog) and she tore this thing apart! Some may doubt a hotdogs ability to destroy things but they are hunting dogs with a wicked prey instinct. She went straight for the squeakers (there are 2)and got them out in 20mins. After that it was just general mayhem: the inside 'stuffing' (as seen in photo below) came out, but the overall body of the toy stayed in tact. All-in-all: she had a good time trying to destroy this skunk, but it's tough and will not rip totally apart...so far. All-in-all it makes a HUGE mess but dogs will enjoy trying to 'kill' it.

I bought this for a puppy I was babysitting. She loved it. Although she only played with it for a few weeks, she never tore it apart and she is one of the chewers. I still have it in one piece waiting for her to visit or to pass on to another dog. She especially loved the squeaker. The only down side to a toy like this is the need to wash it often.

It did not last long but then again nothing does with My Standard Puppy. He loved these Toys but his favorite and the only one he did not earmark for destruction was the Beaver Model. That one he has taken great care not to shred. Who knows what goes on in their Dog Brain but the wheels are turning for sure. All of them have been a hit with my Boy and you can't beat the price. I am sure they will last well with a smaller Pooch. Not so well with 65lbs of Poodle Puppy!

My dog loves this toy. The moment he figured out it was his, he started throwing it around and sprinting around the living room. However, it's not as durable as other reviewers have made it out to be. Within 5 minutes, my dog already tore a hole big enough for the squeaker/sack to fall out. The hole wasn't torn at the seam either. There was also bits of "fur" all over the ground. I let him have at it for maybe another ten minutes today, and he subsequently pulled out the second squeaker, chewed through the sack, and broke both squeakers. I don't know how he broke one of them, but the other one, he chewed the entire valve off. So, this is a great toy if you're actually physically playing with the dog (letting them pull and chase it), but you'll have to take it and put it away if you're not supervising and actively playing with them. The no stuffing thing is great though. I can't imagine how much more of a mess my living room would be if it had stuffing.

Years ago I bought one of the "As seen on TV" toys. It lasted forever but finally decided to toss it due to age. I found these and decided to try them out. My Dachshund is 4 year old and still has toys we bought for him as a pup. Until this toy, he has never torn up a stuffed toy before. This seemed to be much lower quality than the one I bought off TV and it was also much smaller. The squeaker stopped working after about 3 or 4 days. I would not buy this brand again.

My 8 month old pups love these! And Love that there is no more stuffing to pick up around the house. The squeaker does not stay in long as a couple of the pups just have to dig it out, but... the critter stays in tack thereafter! It has become the toy of fun tug o-wars and ‘catch-me-if-you-can”. I bought the Fox, skunk, and raccoon at the same time. They have out lasted many other toys, which barely make it an hour. These Skinneeez are actually still in tack and look great...even with the squeaker non-surgically removed. Overall, 2 Thumbs Up!!! Will buy them again and recommend them!

Le gustan mucho los juguetes de este tipo a mi perrita Jack Russell, por los sonidos que hacen. Me gustaría durarán más los pititos, que fueran de un plástico más resistente. De ahí en más excelentes. No tienen relleno y si lo rompen, no hay peligro de que traguen algún material que les haga daño. Les duran buen tiempo. Ya es la segunda vez que se lo compro y un zorro de este tipo. Excelente para perros pequeños y medianos. Los traen como sus presas.

Es mas pequeño de lo que imagine por la foto, ademas no tiene relleno es practicamente solo como la piel, esteticamente como humano me decepcione porque no es lo que esperaba, PERO para mi perro le encanto y lo trae de un lado para otro y eso es lo que importa por lo cual al final es un buen producto.

En lugar del zorro lo compré, ya que su precio está muy alto y este le da la misma diversión a mi perro. Si lo aumentan voy a tener que buscar otras opciones, ya que en realidad lo que le llama la atención a mi perrita es el sonido no el aspecto del juguete.

Smaller than I expected, I bought this because it has no stuffing so the dogs wouldn't end up eating the stuffing which they usually do. But it hardly lasted a day. The squeaker was soon torn out and the dog started eating the plastic.
