This is an excellent all natural fiber alternative to Benefiber or Metamucil. It dissolves better in a warm drink, so I add it to a little warm water to dissolve, then add to my juice or smoothies. It take so little compared to other options, and is easy to drink. I wish there was a way to respond to other reviews. One reviewer stated there’s a warning on the package not to consume. That warning is regarding the absorbent packet, not the Apple pectin.

Love using this to help keep things regular. Easy to blend into smoothies and oatmeal. Doesn’t blend well into just regular water or liquids.

I am using this in a fruit/yogurt smoothie. It worked fine, though of course possible health benefits will never be able to be discerned specific to this product. The package was difficult to open, a minor issue. It claims on the front to be "High in vitamin C" but then the amount is not actually listed on the back "Nutrition Facts." It also has a California Proposition 65 WARNING (are we surprised?) about exposure "to chemicals including lead, etc., etc." which is presumably required but not helpful. Try figuring out on the CA website whether there are pesticides or other ag agents or lead, which is not useful. So, I asked the company on their website, awaiting response.

This is sweeter and tastier than other organic brands of apple peel, so I suspect they include some of the apple meal in it. You cannot determine the carb count on the package, but because it tastes sweet (and you know apple peel is not sweet) there is probably a carb count. This would be good to put in a smoothie or other food. The other problem is it doesn't go very far-- a lot of money for a tiny packet.

very fine powder and tastes great. doesn't mix well, but who cares? i put in a drink with all my powders and no need to sweeten with this in there. better to eat an apple, but if you want to avoid the carbs, then this is the stuff for sure.

This product is advertised as a superfood. Alas when you turn the packaging it says DO NOT CONSUME?! I am very puzzled. How can you sell superfood and warn your clients not to consume it

This is very delicious and works well in a smoothie. I wish they was more in a single bag. Will not last long. If you're going to buy it then buy 3 or 4 bags to make sure you have a good supply.

If I could give zero I would. Its taste is disgusting and had MANY people try as it’s not returnable. Plus does not mix without A LOT of work but still has glossies with a high powered blender. It’s white flour and tastes like flour nothing else. Add on the price it’s not something I’d recommend.

Does not taste good and doesn't mix well in straight water. Would probably be good for smoothies. I was looking for a dehydrated apple juice and this wouldn't be a good substitute.
